I love the YMCA!
- It would be awesome if there were workout classes in the 7am-8am timeframe!
- It would be awesome if there was childwatch on Monday & Friday!
Friendly staff and up-to-date facilities
Camp has been a great, welcoming space for our son this summer. First time going to camp, and he's been enjoying his days there. Especially grateful for the counselors and staff who have made sure to meet our son where he's at and including him at his own comfort level in daily activities.
Our daughter always has the best time at Camp Melstone and comes home excited to tell us about the day's activities - animal encounters, talent shows with friends, meeting police dogs, etc.
They are highly engaged and unique programing
I like the pickleball options (AL and CF) and the senior exercise class.
Web site not friendly needs ADA assessment.

Melrose YMCA has become a strong community in my life and I respect and thank so many people that are a part of it. It has grown and taught us so many things and My our children have also been a huge part of Melrose Y. We have only seen it grow and continue to get better and better. Thank you for being part of our lives.
Lots of activity for the kids very friendly 😀
The aquatic stretch classes are very useful and I am starting to see the results.
Also, there is always an excercise machine available. If I have a question in the excercise room; there is always someone to help.
Friendly staff , always a smile. Pool sauna and a gym. Win win. Most gyms do not have a pool and I love this feature. Thank you for an amazing place to workout shower swim and sauna is a big deal.
group exercise classes are great. That's mostly what I am using the Y for right now.
The variwt of programs and times
Very responsive staff. Accommodating, nice facilities.
super clean weights area with good number of benches and racks. expansive cardio area. love the turf section. bathroom placement is great. lots of class variance
would love more mirrors in the turf area
Instructors are great! Good diversity for senior classes.
Very good aquatics instructor. Has a nice pace. The aquatics stretch class is a good workout.
Variety of classes to choose from
I love everything about the programs and activities.
It gets me out of the house and gets me doing moves that I would never move on my own.
And it makes we sweat-- which is a good thing for someone who usually stays at home and reads books.
But I do try to take a one-mile walk every day. (I used to do 3 miles a day.... or more.)

The staff are very friendly and good with kids. They seem to have good training about how to teach swim.

I like the programs that engage members and help them realize their physical potential. The social component is important also
