Really nice equipment and I like restorative yoga class
Based on what my toddler says it's fun and definitely tires him out. The only downside is that we don't get to see what the schedule is before hand so it's hard to time (if applicable) early pick-up.
Excellent classes and instructors! I also enjoy playing pickle ball at the Y.
Michael loves to swim and has a great time in the gym
Helpful, friendly staff, excellent equipment set in pleasant workout areas. Locker room could be larger.
You have a wide variety of fitness and health programs for all ages and needs. The schedule is flexible, costs are reasonable, and the staff is welcoming and helpful.
Great programs, great offerings. Kind people. Good working enviorment.
The kids are engaged in a fun and encouraging environment
The kids had fun at the Y camp. They especially liked swimming every day and not being limited based on the weather.
It would be great if they offered extended day like Saugus does. 4pm is tough for parents who have to commute at all. I would sign them up all summer of they had 5 or even better 6 pick up.
Mix of indoor and outdoor activities for kids.
Staff at the front desk are great and the classes keep you coming back - First name removed,Sharon, KAY and Terry are all great
New locker rooms nice. People friendly.
Great range of programs and equipment for kids and adults.
Glad that you have the other venues since especially the Melrose pool has limited availability trying to accommodate all. Although a little drive the Peabody pool has ample lap lanes, lap times and I am able to use that facility.
All 3 Y's I've used since rejoining the Y last fall are all welcoming. Staff members also are well trained per my observation.
My use is mostly all swimming, and I don't swim as often in the summer because of golf but these very hot days have kept me off the links and back to the Torigian pool.
So, I so far have not used your programs and activities but thought I'd let you know what I like now that the Y is a consortium as to when I belonged in the 70's-90's a one stop shop!!
The staff is very friendly and responsible. The programming seems well suited for the children and my daughter is really enjoying it. Love the themed weeks and special activities and the daily use of the pool is a big hit.
Water fitness are right on target
Variety, Group Exercise Classes and Scheduling Ease
Would like to see more water aerobics in the evening for working adults.
Personal training is great
Locker rooms are excellent for a YMCA
My child looks forward to going to camp, despite often being nervous about new experiences. The counselors and camp staff have all been very supportive and communicative in ensuring a great experience for the summer!
I swim.
Good instructors
I like the teacher of water aerobics in the pm sessions Tuesday and Thursday. He is personable, fun and encouraging.
The swim
A great variety of choices, for all ages. Nice temperature control in this very hot weather!
Very impressed with Camp Melstone! Our kids come home happy and aren't begging to be picked up early. We really like that they swim every day and that there are cool indoor options for when it's too hot to be outside.
My 5 year old has really enjoyed her first ever week of summer camp. She has had fun and felt comfortable since day one.
Engagement and creativitiy
It’s a total community experience. From young to old, regardless of race, gender, or identity, the y is open to everyone. The new fitness center is open bright, and actively used.
