I expected more of a harder deep tissue massage. Generally when I've had them before the a lot harder and more uncomfortable. Which I asked for hard. But the massage I got was still god just more relaxing.

Personally I prefer a firm remedial massage which is what I asked for. Unfortunately on this occasion the work on my neck proved to be too intense and a muscle spasm caused significant discomfort for several days afterwards. On the fifth day I had to see my physio to rectify the issue. All fixed now though.

Consultation to establish your problems - very good massage that was firm and worked on the problem areas to release the knots and felt very relaxed after and the following day.
Laura, Practitioner pleasant, makes you feel relaxed, continuity and flow of massage is excellent, knew when to talk and when not to talk.
loved the music. Great healing atmosphere.

I asked for a firm all over body massage. And stated that I carry a lot of tension in my back / neck. Please go easy on my neck.
The lady only massaged my back. and it was so hard i was nearly in tears. she reduced the tension very little when asked.. my neck and back were uncomfortable for three days post. I can still feel tension in my neck.
I was given the 40 minute voucher from a friend and i asked the girls if I could increase the 40 to 60 minutes. to which they agreed. on departire i was charged and extra $45 for this 20 minutes.I felt so upset that i raised my concern of this with the lady on the desk after paying.
The discomfort from my extremely firm "back only" massage and the extra payment for 20 mins @ $45. has left a very bad taste. A shame for someone who is local I would think.
Hi Louise, thank you for your feedback. In normal circumstances, when you have a gift voucher, you are welcome to upgrade and simply pay the difference- which in this case would have been $20, as you suggested. But because your gift voucher had expired quite some time ago and we still honoured it, this was not the case and we charged for a seperate 20 minute massage, which is $45. Apologies if this was not explained clearly enough at the time.
On your consultation form and where it states 'I will let you know if the pressure/temperature/anything needs changing', you have ticked yes. Please feel free to communicate with your therapist during your massage and let her know if you require firmer or softer pressure. We hope to see you back here in future.

I was happy with the care and attention I received. I liked the way the therapist listened and responded.
A good remedial done by someone who knows what they are doing
To the point, no fluff, got the job done. Concise pre-treatment questions enabled Evan to treat me effectively and resolve my lower back pain.
It was a very noisy environment. Firstly building works. Then the endless vacuum cleaner. No mirror to check myself out after getting dressed. Decor plain and not really fit for the purpose. There was a terrible toxic chemical smell. The choice of music was inappropriate but I chose not to say anything. The masseur was pleasant, but seemed to loose strength quickly; started hard but that didn't last for long. I really wanted to like it. I never complain about things, so look at this feedback as observations. But I've never had a more un-relaxing massage. And I won't be back.

As a first time visitor, I wasn't sure if the water at the front desk was complimentary or not. If it is, perhaps offer this in the room at the end of the treatment. I am clutching at straws to make a suggestion as I really valued the time and attention and feel so much better after what was my first massage in a really long time.
Fantastic service the best massage I've ever had. Fernanda was wonderful being pregnant she treated me really carefully and had a wonderful belly pillow that made me really comfortable.
Professional, on time, business is just about massage
Very thorough and relaxing. The therapists definitely knew what she was doing, and ironed out all the sore points.
This was my second visit. Saw Evan who focused on my problem areas and I got the relief & release of muscle tension. Very professional - the room was warm & areas that were not being worked on were also kept warm (covered with a blanket) so my temperature didn't drop during the massage. Was given water to drink which is important after a massage. Background music was low & relaxing - sounded like spa or meditation music.
Didn't receive this same level of care in my first visit. The first massage was good but could tell the diffetent in style (experience) with Evan's aproach. Would be more than happy if the thearapist just reminds clients to hydrate after the massage. Didn't write a review until a second visit so as not to give a biased view on a single visit. And for good reason as my rating improved by the next visit. :)
Could include checking muscle movement before & after the massage; or suggest exercises that would help the client in the long term. Overall this place was recommended to me & I am happy to recommend it to others. Thanks Evan!
