August 11th was my fist experience of a home inspection and I was not sure what to expect, however I can not imagine how it could have been improved. The inspector Sheila Corman went above and beyond to explain in detail what she was inspecting and why. I advised Sheila that I was moving from a suburb to the city and she instinctly provided me with valuable information of differences with an older compared to newer homes that I may not be aware of. Sheila was extremely informative of the technical aspects of the inspection and offered insight into historically what may have been happening to the house given the evidence I am witnessing today. Based on her knowledge and what she reviewed Sheila recommended a termite inspection and sewer review by independent businesses, which she then coordinated on my behalf and was completed within hours. I sincerely appreciate the education given to me by Sheila and I was so much more comfortable on my purchase after the Carson Dunlop inspection. The final report was provided to me in record time and I was able to make an educated real estate decision the same day. I would recommend Carson Dunlop to family and friends, and specifically request Sheila to perform the inspection.
