Love the vibe of all the co-workers and office staff. I am still too new to the company to offer strong scores based on experience.
The management and human resources side of NND has gotten much more organized and better at relaying messages to its employees. Everyone is very nice and easy to talk to and questions are quickly answered normally. I did not give a perfect score because of the communication triangle between caregiver, care ambassador, and client. Sometimes The communication is not clear. Sometimes I will be told something regarding who is coming to relieve me, who will be coming in for future shifts, etc. before my client is. This is fine by itself, but sometimes my client is asking me, but I am told by my superior to not tell them myself, but to rather wait for my superior to call and tell them. I respectfully do this but sometimes the call will not come to my client for hours, meanwhile my client will get frustrated at the unknowing. Also, other times I am told I am allowed to relay information to the clients from the care team. I do not enjoy this inconsistency.
It is a great franchise to work for, however more people to be hired. Once that happens, things will go more efficiently.

From the moment I walked into the office for a job I was treated like part of the family. I enjoy working with the company and the clients.
Everyone is professional and excellent service.
The communication has been bringing down my work experience at Nurse Next Door lately. It would be nice to know about new clients and where they are located at, therefore us caregivers can reach out and say we would like to be considered to care for them. Also, communication between management, client, and caregiver has been very stressful lately. A lot of clients ask the caregivers questions that we don't know answers to. Even when we do know answers, we are not permitted in answering questions. Now, I know that some things should be between management and client, but many times have I had clients tell me that they are unsatisfied with the communications that have had with management. Whether it be feeling as of they are not being listened to, are not being able to get through to them, or not being able to communicate do to lack of response, this is very frustrating for me, I care about my clients deeply and I also enjoy working for this company, so I feel as if I'm caught in the middle.
Employees not being reliable
Nurse next door and the staff are amazing. Kaylene is really amazing and she really cares for her caregivers and her clients. She is a hard worker, great communicator, great RN, and great business owner. She makes sure she is always professional and she makes working at Nurse Next Door feel like home and welcoming. What a great company to work.

Great communication between office and care givers
Everyone I have met is friendly and helpful. The hours are very flexible so you can still manage to work a second job around this one. The employer makes sure that not only the clients are in a safe and comfortable environment but that the caregivers are also comfortable with their clients.

Very caring and understanding company. The staff is easy to work with and the work is fulfilling.
The app we use, Alayacare, could be more convenient. It logs me out quite a lot to where I have to re-login up to ten times a day. This is inconvenient, especially when trying to clock in/out on time. It would also be nice if the app could have the option to remember our credentials rather than us type out everything multiple times a day. It would be more convenient if the app set out notifications for offers, visits that day, and daily activities as well.
