The facilities are clean and efficient. I appreciate that for the size gym it is, that it has as many squat-racks / power-racks, benches, and cable-machines as it has. Plentiful equipment and cleaning supplies (the sanitizer spray bottles) were key into why I signed up here.
I like the availability of the aerobic machines, with video screens to view. I also like small room adjacent to the machine that has free weights, exercise balls, stretch bands, etc. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful.

The Stoney Creek Express YMCA's size, its focus primarily on adults, and the excellent selection of equipment, a decent offering of group classes, and even personal trainers makes it the perfect gym for those of us who want to maintain an exercise regimen, but do not necessarily need the more extensive facilities of one of the larger YMCA of Greensboro branches on a regular basis. The management and staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful and the periodic fundraisers and other programs to help the community are an added bonus. All together these make the Stoney Creek Express YMCA far more than a mere gymnasium.

I just started, 2 days going, so I just enjoy the basic gym workout. some cardio on the treadmill, then core, legs & Shoulders, back & Bi's, chest & Tri's.
The Dance classes , & the cycling classes are great for interacting with folks, and really getting into a rhythm outside of your own comfort zone.
I like the size and family feel of this Y. It’s never crowded and I can get in and out quick and do my workouts in relative privacy. Everyone is friendly and it has just the right amount of equipment.
