I only live 1 mile from the Y which is great and currently there is only 1 machine not available that I would use.
The gym has up to date equipment and offers classes to fit everyone’s needs. The Stoney Creek location has a very friendly staff and everything is well organized to keep everyone as safe as possible.
The staff works hard to make you feel welcome.
The thing I like most about Stoney Creek YMCA is the friendly atmosphere! It is lots better to be working out with friends and people we get to know than strangers. It is more like family and we look forward to seeing each other. When someone is missing for a few days we are checking on them to make sure everything is okay. The staff is very nice and always there to help.

My husband and I like working out on the machines and I like the bike. We can work out at our own pace. Nobody pressures you. Everyone is really nice and helpful.

It's so great to be back. The best part of this facility is the convenience, small size, and amazing staff. Looking forward to getting all of the equiptment back.
I miss being able to start my workouts on the large balls that allow me to stretch back and abs minimizing the risk of injury.
I also look forward to the coffee bar opening back.
It would also be great to have an app so we can sign in with our phone rather than trying to keep up with the card.

The diverse schedule you had before covid hit, yoga, different exercise classes (though need more in the evening 6pm or later. Friendly staff, welcome all ages and sizes. Clean gym.

Being a senior citizen I am very happy that the gyms have been reopened! I use the equipment for my exercising and have not participated in activities or programs. I'm very well satisfied....thank you.
