THE PEOPLE at this Y are helpful and friendly!
The Y had the best facility in Penscaola. Every type of equipment is available and they keep adding more rooms and options.
Friendly staff, check in is quick, even when bringing a guest, clean facility
I like the facility it’s nice
Great atmosphere. Clean environment. Friendly helpful staff.
Excellent! I love going to the YMCA with my daughter. She loves to go swimming and she starts Monday swim class so excited to learn how to swim. She also loves the new downtown by my house, so hopefully I get to try their new gym out also.
I really enjoyed the 2 o’clock water class yesterday. The instructor was awesome!
Fabienne is the best, her classes are awesome, and such fun. And she is always well prepared!
The pool is lovely and the staff very attentive. I watch the swim instructors teach the little children and they are very good, since I was a swim instructor myself. Cheryl Weir
I love all the body pump instructors!!!!
Everything except I’ve been trying to get a massage and the massage therapist is very difficult to schedule with, she doesn’t return calls and have not had much luck scheduling with her via text since I’ve been needing a massage very badly for about 4 weeks; I was told she can help with a tight psoas muscle. So very disappointed and frustrated about not being able to make a massage appt. Otherwise I love the ymca.
The overall facility is excellent and you offer a variety of programs for us to choose from. When we moved to "downtown" Pensacola the proximity of the Y was a definite plus. We do appreciate having access to the day care and open swim when our grandchildren are in town. We are also impressed with how clean things are especially when you consider the amount of people who visit the Y each day. Also, you can't forget the staff & instructors that keep things running smoothly! Keep up the great work.
Caring and patient environment for children. From the childcare to the pool everyone is so great with the kids.

Staff is always smiling and friendly, the facility is spacious and always clean. I haven’t yet utilized the full facility but the pool area I have used often and definitely no complaints there.

The virtual studio is awesome living in an RV i do not have a living room and this helps us when we can’t get to classes!! We work out in Navarre as well as Pensacola I do wish all YMCAs would have this studio!!!

I like that you offer a variety of workout classes and various times during the day!
Group exercises. I miss Cardio Kickboxing and dance classes
Variety of classes, pool and gym equipment, just wish the kid zone opened earlier in the afternoon during the school year.

I think that every aspect of the facility is adequate. It is fairly well organized, clean, ample, and possessing of the necessary equipment. The reason that I refrain from giving a ten out of ten rating as I have in the past is due to two problems which have progressively worsened throughout these few years of the gymnasium's duration. The first is perhaps inevitable that the facility has become overcrowded. The second is exacerbated by the first and that is that the machines have become regularly out if order at which point the wait time for repair has become increasingly longer. there have been many instances in which I have lost significant time waiting because machines are busy and the alternative machines are broken. In summary, I still love the gymnasium as it continues having much good to offer clientele. However, there are these problems that have worsened overtime. I don't suggest taking any action toward resolving the first 'problem' because said problem is only problematic from the client's perspective, because as long as you have more members you are making more money to employ your workers and invest in the facility. The second problem , however, is within your capacity to improve by finding a more reliable repairman, perhaps hiring an inhouse handyman or changing your procedure policies.
