The flexibility and variety

Love body pump and the gym

I love the facilities, however it's difficult to understand everything that is going on. Signage throughout the building needs to pointed out to people so they can learn how to utilize all the amenities easily without having to find staff to ask.

Lots of machines, very clean, nice layout, clean locker rooms, activities, everything you want in a club plus downtown so you can go enjoy replacing the calories you burned!

The variety

The people when you walk in are extremely kind, welcoming & helpful. The equipment is always clean and well maintained. Very grateful for all the staff!!

You have developed the most interesting variety of classes I’ve enjoyed in the many gyms, in many countries through out the world! Your teachers are excellent, your facilities are always clean and welcoming!

This place is amazing. And for the price it’s just too good to be true.
The class selection and schedule is outstanding. It has great instructors … Andrea, Fabianne are my favorite. Just started Shahanas vinyasa and it’s pretty stellar too.
Took swim class or two with Patric and got exactly what I needed.
The only bummer is the pool is SO HOT. It’s like bath water or a warm shower.

Since I have joined, I have been several times doing physical therapy on my back same as I did going to the therapist, my sugar levels have dropped & have shed a couple of pounds, feeling a whole lot better the staff are very helpful & what a state of the art facility it is & very clean very pleased

I do like cycling bikes that you can make it work for any height for any kind of people. I like everything at The YMCA

The pool wasn't overly crowded.

Love them, would love more classes especially zumba

Swimming, weight room, and playing basketball.

I love the Bear Levin Studer YMCA. The facility is heavily used and classes are near capacity. This is awesome and demonstrates the great need for this center in our community.

The incredible desire for healthier lifestyles from our community has unfortunately led to a decline in the equipment used in the Bodypump room. The weights have been used beyond their functional lifespan. The contents are leaking so much that they are no longer accurate in weight representation. This creates unevenness when the weights are placed on either side of a bar. Plastics weights filled with sand and weakly sealed are not the best fit for such heavily used equipment.

I am hopeful that the equipment manager will examine the current equipment and possibly discuss with the Bodypump instructors the availability of more sustainable equipment. There are available alternatives to sand filled weights that would make a better choice for our YMCA. These solid weights are a better long term investment and would hold up to the heavy use placed on them.

I would like to thank all staff for their dedication. I hope my comments and recommendations will be placed in the proper hands and the instructors consulted for their expertise in the matter. Thank you for fostering the pursuit of healthier living and providing such an amazing asset to our community.

I enjoy your classes. Need to get upstairs to the weights eventually. I hope you will bring back Zumba! I think your Tuesday Yoga class at 9:30 needs a bigger room!! :) and.... your staff is great!
