My family and I enjoy the YMCA. I have been a member at one YMCA or another depending on where I was living for around 40 years.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I love the openness of the gym and all the different exercise classes that are available. I would make a recommendation that staff walk around more to see if anyone needs assistance with the equipment as the do at the Northside location. like that the equipment counts how many times you have done your exercise as well.

I love that the zoom classes continued after Covid.

Friendly staff always offering assistance and suggestions if needed. Pool/classes/yoga/exercise equipment and rooms always great. Love our Y and staff. My grandkids love the Y as well and their summer Y camp.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

Our local Whitaker Family Y is superb because it is superbly led by Director Dana Ensley who has in the past and contiues to surround herself with very nice, smart, and capable people. Recently with some of our grandkids visiting from Atlanta and Louisville, she, Will (membership director),Katie, and Tom went beyond the call of duty to help me understand how the Y could best acommodate my guests, and in a way that would cost me, but not an arm and a leg. I also like it that the Y facility including locker and restrooms are clean. The facility and people there reflect an aura of happiness and success. Finally, Amber Serres, Ron, and Mary have also been helpful and exceedingly nice people with whom to interact.
