Member Testimonials
The YMCA has a variety of programs for all ages. The Y keeps you posted for new programs and special events.
The great variety of programs by personal choice.
Easy access and well organized to activities choose from.
Everyone is so friendly and supportive. Love the variety of classes offered.
My husband and I just joined the YMCA through the Silver Sneakers Program. We have been exploring the different classes and taking part in beginner’s pickleball. I’m impressed with the variety of classes and programs for different levels of ability. Just in the last few weeks that I’ve been working out, I feel more energized and ready to join in. I’ve meet some really nice people and have enjoyed the socialization as much as the exercise. The facility and staff are great. I didn’t know what I was missing!
Location
Great place and staff!
Many options for classes but they fill up quickly.
So much variety in class offerings.
Everything from equipment ,to how clean it is helpfulness or the staff. Love it
The staff is very friendly and helpful! I enjoy meeting other folks that exercise and sharing with them. There are a lot of exercise options and classes to attend!
Wonderful selection of classes
Friendly, clean, and easy
I don’t use the programs and activities. I mostly use the workout area and treadmills. Improvement point is to make sure the TVs on the treadmills work — about half of them have no signal and ESPN is free oxen in the others. Please fix this.
Classes for every level and interest. Hours of operation provide ample opportunity to attend classes. Love programs that involve community outreach.
It is a space where I can safely exercise.
Flexability
The sauna and gym, everything is kept clean and fixed promptly
We haven't tried any yet, but there seem to be plenty of activities!
Friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities. Thanks to all involved.
Since November of 2024, I have been participating in the EGYM Program which consists of eleven machines (pieces of exercise equipment) all of which self-adjust and give important upper body, core, and leg strength measurements comparing one's chronological age with their biological/strength age This is a phenomenal program which I do three days per week while cycling through the eleven machines three times, each taking about 20 minutes, thus one hour during each visit and three hours per week. The Y provides an app which records the data from these workouts which are readily available at the user's fingertips. I love the progress I have made in all three areas of my body and it has been interesting to see so many people 60+ years old who regularly participate in this EGYM Program. To enter the program, a one-time fee of $25 gets you the training which takes about 1/2 hour and a wrist ban needed to log in on each machine and facilitate the storage of data. There must have been millions of dollars that went into doing the research on, and developing these machines. And I am sure it was very expensive for our Y-Board of Directors to invest in this program, but I am glad they did because I have never seen a program better than this one for those of us who are older.
E-gym and pickleball
Honestly I just use the pool…
The facility is clean.
The employees are friendly.
Basketball programs and gym. Walking track.
I like that the YMCA is a clean facility and has helpful staff.
I love the EGym.
Have not participated in either
I always love the warm greeting I get when I come into the Y in the morning! Miss Mary is simply the best. She’s never late, and no matter what’s going on, she always has the biggest, brightest smile. She’s attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful — I’ve seen so many people stop by her desk to sign up or ask questions, and she’s always right there to assist. She’s truly an amazing asset, and I really enjoy stopping by her desk on my way out just to say hi because she genuinely makes my day!

I like the group classes but really wish there were more options like barre and Blast of the Day offered in the evenings and weekends. I feel like there are a ton of options for people who don’t have to work during the day. I have really liked the instructors that I have met. They have always made me feel welcomed to their classes.
