Friendly atmosphere

I enjoy each class I have gone to. The leader and participants are nice and helpful. What turns me off, is when I have gone to pickleball and no one is nice, will not let me join in and treat me like why am I there and don’t want to play with me. There are exceptions to some nice ladies but generally speaking it is not a friendly atmosphere. How am I supposed to get better if no one wants to allow me to play. My friends feel the same way. My husband plays there often, but he has his own group of 4 or more. But at first the same happened to him as well.

Childcare, classes, all the equipment, and all season swimming.

I personally use the therapeutic warm pool. My husband uses gym equipment. I have been coming to this Y for many years. I sometimes think it needs to be enlarged.

I like playing pickleball and strength training.

I became a member, primarily for the warm water pool, to exercise without impacting my knees. Dr Selby recommended this to replace walking, as walking was creating serious knee pain. And other parts of my body are receiving benefits as well. In the few times I have participated, it has given some relief, but I need more time for my solidly evaluated.

My observation tells me that there are an abundance of equipment and activities here at the Y.

So far, I am completely satisfied.

The staff is always helpful and friendly! There are so many different exercise machines and I never have to wait to use them.
