It is great that you recognize the Silver Sneakers program for seniors. I am 72 yo and the walking track plus warm water pool fitness classes are just what my husband and I need to keep active. Keep doing a great job.
I want to thank the staff at the Beaumont Y in Lexington. I had tried to get a package of peanut butter crackers out of the vending machine with no luck. All it was giving me for my dollars was 90 cents. I asked for help at the desk. Two staff members tried and tried with no luck. A staff member offered me almonds and honey because by that time my blood sugar was very low. Another staff member came by and offered his help. He was successful and wouldn't take a payment. I thank the staff for their for their concern and helpfulness.
I enjoy going to the Y with friends. Although I hate to go swimming I really like the free time in the warm water pool.

There are programs for every age and skill level. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Every racial or ethnic group seems to be represented in the membership. The scholarships awarded make priceless opportunities available to many who otherwise would not have access to such.

Pickleball!!! Beginners level. Need additional times just for beginners.
The area around the large indoor swimming pool is unsafe, I am amazed that no one has not suffered a severe injury so far. The amount of kids, young and old that I see falling because of how slick it is even when they are walking is far too much.
The changing rooms are so outdated especially the family ones although I know this is finally getting resolved.
While it is probably out of scope gravity free running machines would be huge or some low impact running machines
Boxing (not kickboxing) classes or better still Krav Maga classes for kids and adults would be tremendous
Fitness classes
Especially Starter Fitness and stretch and strength
Also Pickleball times on Tuesday and Hhyrsday
Silver sneakers classes.
