I use the lap lanes in the swimming pool. The pool has gotten much busier in the last six-to eight months. That good--more people are taking care of themselves, but makes swimming more difficult. At times when the Beaumont pool is busy, I've returned to the UK pool. It's also getting busy, but I still have a lane to myself.

You have a beautiful facility, large, well-equipped and clean. But what really makes the Y great is your staff. Every one of them is a star! And they really care about my health journey. Since I started regularly attending your classes, I've seen great improvement in my strength, stamina and balance and I've made some great friends.

Oh, I do wish that you would pad the fire alarm box on the wall. It sticks out very far and is very dangerous.

I love that there are activity levels for everyone; from "I've never been to a gym before" level, to "I'm a pro that needs a challenge".

Flexibility

I like the group classes like zumba, yoga, hip hop etc. these classes give us opportunity to unite with people and exercise at same time bring happiness in life.
Additionally other activities for kids like pool, swimming classes and kid corner availability.
I really like YMCA.

Aquatics

The facilities are always clean. The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly and effective. Shout out to Ruth (senior classes) and Dorraine (yoga). The atmosphere is welcoming and that translates into member interaction which provides a social outlet too.

Clean environment, friendly staff, a variety of times for programs

I like the programs however most seem to be in the day when I’m working. And I’ve taken pilates reformer but I can’t afford that twice a week and paying gym fee. It’s too pricey

People (staff & users) are friendly & courteous. Facilities are kept clean.

I love the inclusivity, the amazing quality of all of the teachers, and the environment always feels welcoming. This location always feels clean and well kept. I will always recommend this Y to anyone and everyone!

The staff is AMAZING! So helpful and encouraging. I love the accessibility for people of all ages & abilities. Hours of operation are very accommodating. The facility is clean and inviting. I would encourage anyone to join the YMCAof Central KY community.
