Great water aerobics classes with great instructors.
The staff, especially those leading our group exercise, Tammy, Maureen and Maria. The front desk staff always greet me when walking in. The remodeling gives a cheery atmosphere.
Spacious environment
I would hope all of the activities are Family friendly and Christian base. The foundation of any good organization is having a Strong foundation, serving the community and the common goal should be to challenge and continue to evaluate your programs. I believe Sarpy YMCA does set their standards very high with excellent instructors.
The fact that you got a new heater for swimming pool and now pool is always reasonably comfortable! The new chair lift makes it easier for me to get out to as I am old! I only use the pool now, as it is only exercise I can do because of heart trouble.
I like that the class sizes are small so it gives my child more time with the instructor. Also at the end of each lesson I like how they come by and tell you the progress of your child.

Coaches have stayed consistent to build rapport with kids. Smaller class sizes and longer sessions have been a welcome change.

Silver Sneaker's, good for a 92 year old.
The variety
I strictly participate in the Silver Sneakers classes. The instructors are excellent & I truly feel like I get a great workout. It’s nice to workout with adults in my age group.

I dont use your programs or activities. I just use the fitness center.
I am so glad to see the changes that are being done at the sarpy co ymca. I think the weight room alone has had the biggest improvement! Way to go!
Water activities, especially Maria
Many sports opportunities however I do wish flag football and soccer games were not both Sat am so kids can play both sports.
I love YMCA sports for my daughter. She has grown so much and her coach is so supportive and knowledgeable. The only thing I dislike (and this isn't a YMCA issue necessarily) but I dislike that parents are allowed to smoke at practices and games with no accountability. It is really frustrating for non-smoking parents and their kids to be around it and there is nowhere to go. I have no suggestion on how to fix it, but it is really frustrating.
I like the variety of classes available and the cost of membership. Plus it is a relaxed atmosphere where you do not feel judged no matter what your fitness level may be.
