I like when the oil I order is delivered in a prompt manner, as was the case last time. It came 2 days after I ordered it. My house is old and drafty, therefore using more oil to heat, and when we have these extreme cold temps, of course more oil is used. So, if I order oil when it is extremely cold and it isn't delivered for about 2 weeks, AS WAS THE CASE LAST WINTER, my tank gets pretty close to empty. I have no basement, all my pipes are in the attic, which has no heat source other than the heat from the boiler room flowing through the vents to the attic. So, if I run out of oil it wouldn't take long for the pipes to start freezing. I'm sure the waiting time for delivery of oil has a lot to do with the bill. The longer you wait, the more oil you are using, therefore more oil is needed to fill the tank. Thus, making the oil bill higher. I guess it's like everything else, it's all about the money. No consideration of the fact that a person is worried about running out of oil while waiting for delivery and the same for a person wondering how much the bill will be, because the longer you wait for delivery, the higher your bill will be.
Customer Service is exceptional! Never have an issue when calling. Delivery guys is always friendly.
