The Y has been a part of my life for more than 40 years - first as an Individual member, then later with a Family membership. My kids grew up at the Y ... swim classes, dance classes (and recitals!), martial arts, summer camp; and on and on. Now, as a Silver Sneakers member, I visit regularly on my own, I go a little slower and I lift a little less, but I still love the smiles, the support and the extended family I find at the Y!

The Y community is great. Random acts of kindness abound. Improvements to the building greatly improve the experience. Instructors are friendly and tuned in. People miss you when you are absent so it makes you show up!

Comfortable atmosphere
I love the YMCA ambiance of family and community, I grew up with a family membership and have continued to enjoy my own membership now as an adult. Specifically about my local YMCA, I appreciate and am enjoying the cleanliness and updates of the remodel - it has significantly improved the gym experience making it even more likely to recommend versus attend for my own personal nostalgia.
