friendly staff, clean facility, well equipped
The people and staff and friendly. The facility is clean and safe. I can only talk aabout the pool and locker rooms as I just come in, swim laps, and leave. The guards keep us safe.

The facility is well maintained, updated and family-friendly. The staff is friendly and professional. In the event there is an issue with the equipment or members, they are addressed efficiently. I have recommended the Southeast Oakland YMCA to family and friends, many of which have happily joined.

It’s been cleaned up and looks much better than last year. The water is warm in the pool, the showers have plenty of hot water, and the staff are friendly.

I cannot help but live and die by the Egym. I am hoping to see Egym expand across several YMCA locations throughout America. I am also in love with the pickleball community that plays every Wednesday and Friday. I hope the pickleball network continues to grow. We have also enjoyed sending our kids to childwatch, summer camp, and "parents night out" events.
I can exercise my complete body in a manageable fashion. I like the E machine’s cycle. People not following the cycle process is annoying.

The Y has a variety of activities and equipment to meet my needs and desires for exercise. Between opportunities for individual, small group and larger group scheduled exercises, there is something for everyone. I especially like the EGym, a set of equipment that individually sets resistance levels for short exercise reps.
