Great looking facility. Very well kept. Staff is super friendly and hospitable. The only drawback is that the area can be a little small in order to do some functional HIIT excercises but you can always adjust.

I have been a member of the Y for many years--I love the water aerobics--I have a back problem and these exercises and wonderful teacher( Nancy) have been the best therapy I could have. I also like Tai Chi when it is available and exercises in the gym; I know they have a lot more to offer when they have enough people to work--this has been a difficult time for everyone, but I highly recommend applying for a position at the Y---if I were a few years younger I certainly would. Thank you to all of you who give so much at the Y!
I am happy that the group excercise classes are available to me. I enjoy the Zumba class and I walk the track.
It's a great place to visit to stay or get in shape. Friendly and helpful staff. Great Equipment, great programs.
The staff
I have been going to the Downriver YMCA for a few years now. I like the flexibility of the hours of the facility. The workout area upstairs is well equipped and kept clean. I enjoy swimming in the pool. And last, but not least, the staff is friendly and helpful.
It is a wonderful place to exercise and share friendships.

My sister and I exercise at the YMCA pool as often as we can. Everyone is friendly and welcoming here at the YMCA and it is the perfect way to start our day.

I love working out in a clean environment but most all the staff is amazing. I talk to most of the staff and they are so good with customer service. My child love going to child watch there. We love all the girls so much that take care of the kids.
Have lots of equipment and large area to workout. Most people clean off their machines when finished and feel relatively safe. Enjoy being there.

The yoga instructor was very nice and knowledgeable. Without being asked, she always gave modifications and made everyone feel comfortable. I enjoyed the yoga class!

It's so nice to see warm and friendly face(s) in the morning. I like the cleanness of the "Y" including the locker rooms. The staff is always willing to help and/or assist when needed In addition to having all of the equipment need for a great workout, a truly nice to place for the whole family.
