I like the water exercise classes lead by Nancy. She really cares about all of her students. She watches us, and will make individual adjustments when we need them.
There used to be a bench in the men's locker room .... to sit on by the sauna, you should put that bench back for people coming out of the sauna dizzy... to sit on

I love the convenience of the location. The app makes it easy to sign up for classes on the go. The facilities are always clean and I feel very comfortable.

Convenience, safety, friendly staff, clean. Many different programs and exercise equipment are offered.
I love that I can walk daily safely. As a senior I need to feel comfortable without getting hurt. I also like the new lockers in the ladies lounge. I am able to come through my senior insurance program.
The classes and people.
My one complaint would be the temp of the pool water. In fact a friend just said she was looking into joining but that was why she didn’t.
Everything I need in one place
It's a welcoming family experience. I've always enjoyed the work out center. I would like to see the classes become more in line with the schedule. I have experienced days of cancelation due to no instructor. Hourly, that will improve as needed.

I am 71 and was able to join the YMCA for free since I have Blue Cross Insurance and Iam making the most of the facilities!
The Southgate YMCA is a friendly and well maintained facility. I enjoy the people who work there from Jamie at the front desk to Anne and Stefan on the second floor. The hours are fit into my schedule. This YMCA is outstanding.
