I love the pool and the water aerobic classes. I also love playing pickle ball but I wish there were more courts available to use. 2 is not enough for all the people that show up to play. Outside courts would be great. Get rid of the outside pool ad put in pickle ball courts

I love my personal trainer, Britany. Also, the Y has great equipment and folks around to help you make the most of them. It is clean and safe and a nice place to be and get healthy. The pool is fabulous also. Price of course can't be beat. Plenty of things for both seniors, kids and the committed work out types. The hours are great and work well with all schedules.

Daycare
The best part about our experience at the southgate YMCA is the customer service we have received. We would specifically like to acknowledge Jacob in particular. His willingness to work with my family , be empathetic towards moving pieces in our life & still be able to listen & rendered out services to us is amazing. We are glad to be a part of the facility as he has welcomed us with open arms.
Great new equipment - both weights and cardio machines. Locker Room is clean. Great group exercise classes - love yoga! Many cool community events - e.g. the recent youth art exhibit.
Your staff is very friendly and caring from people like Jamie, Sonjay, Barb and Ann Marie. While the facilities are clean, your focus seems to be on younger people. Those of us who are retired have been asking for more recumbent bikes. These would be easier on our old joints. But we've not seen a single new bike. The bikes that are on the second floor tend to be in need of repair often. At the earlier hours, retirees seem to be the people who are there. However, some of our age group are going else where where the bikes are available.

While I wish the outdoor pool was operable, and that there were more lap swim times, I'm grateful for your presence in the area.
