Love the staff and instructors and the classes
Kids had a great experience, they ask me to go back to camp almost weekly, and often sleep with their necklaces on. Staff seems to enjoy children and have appropriate training. A consistent routine with a variety of fun and engaging activities for the children. A good consequence and reward system for the children to encourage model behavior. Recognizing and rewarding hard working children which builds self esteem and confidence, encouraging peers to do their best. A lot of outside activities with I believe zero screen time, which is a plus for me. A lot of team work activities to teach children about community. The only down side was not timely communication with staff, not noticing me of field trips/change of a field trip date, when I requested no field trips. It seemed like Epact could've been read/reviewed before communicating with parents when incidents happened, but there are a lot of children and many things to remember about each child. It was also the first week of camp when incidents occurred so it is a learning curve for all.
Great staff!! Fun activities and field trips. The kids are well taken care of have met new friends.

We LOVE Olivia. She is kind AND pushes all the kids to do their best. Our daughter started out WAY over her head, but has made incredible progress too!

Absolutely love camp for both my kids! So grateful for the staff, the activities, all the fresh air! Everything offered by the Y summer camp!
We have done several sessions with Miss Alise and she has been amazing! My sons swimming has improved greatly. I wish there was a Monday morning 3&4 class offered for preschool classes because we may not be able to continue classes once my son starts school next week.
I really enjoy the variety of classes. Please put a morning yoga class on the schedule.
My son Owain loves the Gaga ball. He tells me the YMCA camp is the only camp
He wants to attend in the summmer. The bead necklaces are brilliant and he love collecting beads for different good behaviour. The counselors are excellent and engaged. They recognize him year to year and remember him so he feels instantly like he belongs when we drop off the first day. I think this camp is well run and keeps the kids outdoor, active and learning through the summer.
Our kids all had a great summer thanks to camp at the Y! They had so much fun, made lots of new friends and loved their counselors. They usually fell asleep in the car before we made it home ( we live less then 10 minutes away) from having such a busy day!
My 6 year old daughter clearly became more active this summer. She became noticeably more energetic right away and had gained muscle mass by the end of the summer. She was also very happy and tired at the end of each day. She love the field trips and always talked about her friends and the camp counselors.
The staff is friendly and professional, and the facility is keep clean and safe.
My son loved it!!! The staff was very friendly and caring, but firm about the rules. The activities were fantastic, and the field trips were amazing!!!

Our two older kids who attend Carls YMCA camp in the summer absolutely love it! They come home exhausted, dirty, and ready for another snack …. Which in my mind is a sign if a great day!!!! The two of them had a stiff competition to see who get more camper of the day certificates than the other. They greatly enjoy it!
Cindy is the best. If she left the y I would follow her. Her class is a challenge but there is always a chair if needed. Cindy is energetic and always smiling. Her class is silver sneakers but great for all ages. My only regret is it's not 3 times a week.
The kids have been doing swimming here for 8 months and they have progressed tremendously! We have loved the consistent teachers and small class sizes.

The staff is always friendly and polite! Alli is always on time and knows her routines well! Katrina always has a smile on her face, and it’s always a fun class! Melissa did a great job filling in the summer! Enjoy all the classes!

Counselors were amazing and it was tan very well!! My daughter had a great time and is already excited for next year!
