Not only do we not see any insects or vermin, everyone is so friendly. Treats us like family! Plus they go over and above expectations. Allow me to explain.
We were in hospital for the birth of our daughter when l got a call that our goats had gotten out of their fence. They're quite resourceful in their notoriously constant attempts to escape, then just see what kinds of trouble they can cause. In this case Jonathan called me to let me know. I was just getting ready to leave to go fix the fence and potentially miss the birth when he came to the rescue.
Jonathan told me where they escaped from. A tree they killed a few years ago was a pivotal corner and had rotted the root anchor away over time, leaving it pretty much just sitting on the ground. On my list of things to do, but l ran out of time. He said he'd fix it if he could, so I told him where the fence post pounder was and some wire, and he gladly did the repair himself and got the two escapees back inside!! What a relief and what a guy!!!
Our house is 120 years old and I definitely don't want to get any termite damage. I randomly picked Sawyer because that was my mom's maiden name. Turns out it was a home run, they really ARE family.
