It is a very well equipped location with a great deal of options for their members and reasonably priced, but the biggest reason is the friendly and caring staff. They are cheerful, helpful and constantly maintaining the environment.

I spend a lot of time at the Y attending yoga classes, cycling classes and swimming! I’m excited about the Tri Challenge and the Ayurveda workshop and all the new Mind Body classes that are being planned! I’ve met some great people at the Y too!
The Salem Y fulfills so many of my needs (spin, yoga, fitness center, near home and work.
For me, the YMCA is like family. It's not just a place I go to workout. It is community. This is so valuable in these times of loneliness, alienation and anomie.
