Since the change in leadership, the staff morale has changed and it is obvious that teachers are happier in their roles. Some teachers have moved classrooms and I'm extremely happy with the teachers that have been assigned to my son's class! My son loves going to school! He brings home some great art work, but the art isn't just product art it's learning based. I like that I can see the teachers are actually doing curriculum. Parent communication has improved which is awesome as well!
The programs run smoothly on Saturdays. The basketball teams are good sports and encourage all to play.
I liked that they had a boxing punching bag. The facility was busy but very nice.

Very nice clean, people friendly. If you need any help you will get. They have different classes - you can attend witch you like. Yoga classes I recommend. You can work on many different machines. I like this gym , only I wish they be have swimming pool .

The staff is friendly and helpful. In the years that I have belonged, there has never been someone at the front desk that isn’t smiling or friendly as you come in the door. They also listen to suggestions and do what they can make the place better if possible.

The coaches, the new facility, pricing, all of it! All 3 of my children have benefitted from YMCA sports, childcare and camps. I'm a huge fan thank you to the dedicated staff!
In my experience (having been a member of the Y for almost a year), it’s a clean facility with friendly staff. The classes are engaging and fun. I love that I can drop my 3 year old off to play in kids club (at no additional cost!) while I go work out. My family has also taken advantage of the free parent and tot gymnastics classes and open gymnastics time! We love the Plaistow Y!

The Y has a good variety of machines and classes. And the personnel are very helpful and friendly.

My kids love going here. They are learning more and more every day. My oldest was so shy and did not adapt well to changes before he started preschool here and now he is so much better in social situations. My youngest has learned so much as well and they are both becoming so much more independent since starting here. All of the teachers here are amazing. They are so nice and great with the kids.
The staff are incredible. My little has been doing so much more talking with the staffing change in her T1 classroom.
I’m getting wonderful results from the two classes that I take from Wendy. She’s amazing and makes me challenge myself more than I would if I were home doing the same exercises! So congratulations to you for having a wonderful Instructor like her.

We love the feeling of Family. I’m so happy I’m able to bring my child to school and he’s not scared to have me leave. He’s very comfortable with everyone. I’ll be sad when he moves on to grade school.
