The facility is clean and well cared for and the staff cares about the people. The staff is friendly and connects with everyone!
One concern I have is the junk food being offered in the vending machines. If food is going to be offered at all, it should be healthy and not ultra processed food loaded with salt, sugar and chemicals.
The Y is a place promoting health and wellness and these vending machines are a sharp contrast to that message. Also, the machines are placed right outside the gym where lots of children attend activities. Children are bombarded with junk food everywhere they go. The Y should either provide healthy (minimally processed options) or not have anything at all. This food provides no nutritional value and contributes to childhood obesity. Thanks for your time.

Our child attends CRCC, which is in association with the North Shore YMCA. I like the hours of open play and outdoor adventures. I like then hands-on approach to teaching in the preschool classroom and focus on social/emotional development that my 4yo needs. I think she's getting a lot out of preschool, and I think it's best that she stay there until kindergarten! The teachers and all staff are incredible. This is the perfect place for her.
I love that my son is frequently outside playing with the water table or outdoor playstructures. I feel getting fresh air and appreciating the outdoors is so important. I also love how they incorporate other lessons that are not didatic, such as potting plants, watching catepillars grow, and learning about the birds that come to the bird feeder outside the classroom. He always looks forward to school and has a great set of teachers who know how to handle a boy with lots of energy and a need to be on the move.

It is a wonderful place. It is not too big and very clean.
It was a hard transition for my son when we moved to the area. He was going to another daycare one day a week and didn't seem happy there. My son has only been at the Early Learning Center for 3 days now and is very happy. He loves his teachers, especially Ms. Sarah. So I like whatever they are doing in his classroom.
The teachers genuinely love my sons and it feels like dropping them off with family!
Team practices are thoughtful and structured towards an eye towards advancement both with the club team and HS swimming. We appreciate Garret’s high caliber coaching and outlook.

The abundance of fitness and social activities for young and old. The separate locker rooms. The outdoor aquatic center.
We have had negative experiences in the past. This time was different. Now, We will only take swim lessons from Miss Jill! She is simply the best. She is passionate about water safety and challenges my kids so that they feel confident in the water. Thank you Jill!!!!

Love the Fit for Life class with Kerri. Great instructor, great group of people that participate (even though they all are in better shape than I am and I am more than 10 years younger!). Such is life....
Very glad that Nick suggested that I start out with her class. Now, can we have her do more classes? or video a class that she does? It is a bit cut throat to get into the class and people get upset when their friends don't make the "cut".
