I love that my son is in a safe caring educational and loving environment. I was very reluctant to have my son go to an afterschool program as he had never been anywhere other than school and home with his parents. But I honestly would not want him to go anywhere other than the YMCA after school program.

Everyone is very nice and encouraging.
It’s good for those who just want to workout and skip any other kind of “scene”. Lots to offer and a low key atmosphere.
Fun activities with infants and toddlers, consistent routine so children know what’s coming next, no pressure!
The instructors are really good with my 5 and 4 year old grandchildren! They are patient and make it enjoyable for them! They are always in a great mood and keep safety in mind at all times!

We’ve been very happy with class but notice the instructors change a lot throughout a session. Also would love step stools in the family locker room so little ones can reach the sinks.
Family membership is great!
My son Bryce has been attending the before and afterschool YMCA program since 1st grade and he loves it! He also attends the YMCA summer program. This is his 2nd summer with them and he loves playing with his friends and the staff so much that sometimes he asks to stay longer when I arrive to pick him up! I am a single dad and I would not be able to make it without the help of everyone over there at the Y. I will continue to have Bryce attend their programs for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend any YMCA program that you are considering, I have had nothing but great experiences with them!
