I like that the after school program is right at my child's school and is open long enough for me to get him from where I work in Newburyport. Kian is really responsive and communicative whenever my child takes a spill. I really appreciate how smooth it has been for my kindergarten to get some after school care while I work.

The kiddos are always moving and doing activities. Everyone is so friendly and truly cares about the kids.

Upon visiting the gym on Wednesday,
I discovered an outstanding balance on my account.
I discussed my situation with the front desk staff, explaining that I had been taking care of my sister after a major car accident and had been out of work for a month, resulting in financial strain.
I had previously informed Sue about my situation, including the increased bills I was facing, and she had indicated her ability to assist me in finding a solution for the overdue balance. This support would enable me to continue using the gym's facilities.
Because of Sue's compassion and understanding, I would recommend highly for anybody to seek out a membership to the Haverhill YMCA

My Son named her Ms. Luly Aka Ms.Lilly

Ms. Luly is my son’s absolute favorite teacher. He genuinely looks forward to going to school just to see her. His whole face lights up the moment he walks in and notices she’s there. He even calls her “my Luly,” which fits perfectly because of the special bond they share. One day, he was so excited to see her that he took a bracelet from my jewelry box to bring to “Luly” as a gift.
I’ve also had the chance to observe Ms. Luly interacting with other children on multiple occasions, and her warmth is consistent with every student. Her reactions are always genuine, patient, and caring. She creates an environment where kids feel seen, valued, and safe — and that means everything.
Ms. Luly is truly a gift to her classroom, and I’m grateful for the positive impact she has on my son and so many others.

When you find the best quiet time, it can be very peaceful and you almost have the place to yourself with other like minded people. Plenty of good machines, free weights, and classes. Decent prices, parking and hours.

Variety of programs & services. Courteous staff.

When my wife and I first visited, Laura Rine greeted us and gave us a full tour of the facility as well as an overview of what the Y had to offer. She was very welcoming and while we were touring the facility, we met other staff members who were also friendly and welcoming. The facility was clean, the equipment was up to date and in excellent condition (they have also recently added many new pieces of equipment) and they have 3 indoor pickleball courts, which was of particular interest to us and was exactly what we were looking for. We have now been members for almost 4 months and we are very happy that we joined. We’ve met a lot of great people playing pickleball and my wife also takes a lot of the fitness classes offered daily, which she really enjoys. She has also done some personal training sessions with Ilia, and has been extremely satisfied with those sessions. Overall, the facility is nice, clean, with up to date equipment in excellent condition, and the staff is great! The monthly membership fee is also reasonable for all that you have access to. Not a lot more you could ask for! Highly recommend!

Ava loves the variety of activities offered at the After-school Program. The staff are friendly and attentive. We absolutely love that the family membership is included! Ava has been enjoying Friday Fun Night and swim lessons.

The staff is excellent and attentive, the programs are wonderful, and I feel very safe sending my child here. I truly appreciate the care and support they provide.

There are days Sandy cries and does not want to walk into school and they are all very attentive to her needs and make her feel welcome.

I like the child interaction for my children, problem solving when an issue occurs, communication between staff and myself, my children are able to engage in exercise, crafts, and Lego building.

We couldn’t be happier with our kids after-school program. James and the rest of the staff are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive, and it truly shows in the way they interact with the kids every day. They take the time to understand each child’s needs, offer encouragement, and create a safe, supportive environment where kids feel comfortable and valued. Knowing my kids are treated with kindness and patience gives me such peace of mind. We’re very grateful for the dedication and heart this team brings to the program.”
