It is so easy for me to visit the Y because it is close to home or wherever I am on the North Shore. I like to stop by for even just 30 minutes sometime. It has all the machines and space that I need but it unintimidating to me, unlike some other gyms. I think the health of my family and friends would benefit from going to the y.

The Y is welcoming, and has really nice, clean facilities. I am so happy that you provide a place for kids 12-15 to hang out and be athletic - it is such a hard age(no jobs, no cars - what can they do ?)... The Y is a godsend.

I enjoyed your welcoming me to the Y. There are many activities to participate in....I have done Pickleball, yoga, floral arrangements, stress reduction workshop and the eclipse AND I look forward to trying more of the classes.

I have been a member for 8 years. I like the overall experience I have had during g that time. Enjoy my classes and have made many new friends. The instructors are qualified and make my classes fun and a good work out for my age. The staff are fantastic. Friendly, helpful and nice people. It is a great atmosphere to work out in.

Open and airy. You can get in movement and maintain a 6-foot distance from others. Spanking clean facility. You’re greeted by smiling faces. Always welcoming.

I find it to be clean and very accomadating. The classes I take are excellent for the most part. You just need to make them consistent with their description. Sometimes the instructors for the same class are very different in the course content that they instruct.

New building, great pool, fantastic staff. All that and abundant parking! What could be better?

However...
It's far from perfect. The Y could use some sort of system to collect and keep track of suggestions members come up with--from program ideas to janitorial complaints. It sometimes seems like all the suggestions (complaints) never get past the locker room banter. What a boost to moral it would be if folks could see a list (posted or on a website) of what's been suggested, what complaints have come in, what's being worked on, and when will it get done. As it stands now apathy seems to be the prevalent attitude towards complaints/suggestions (or even notifications of something that's broken): "No use telling 'em; they're not gonna do anything about it." If you like this idea, let me know, because I can start the list!

Cape Ann Y has been so much better since the new facility was open. Not perfect but I appreciate that you are trying so hard to get feedback to be more responsive to your customers. It's a beautiful facility with a lot to offer for the community.
