Great facility with lots of exercise equipment. People there are friendly and welcoming

The Y is a non profit, non sectarian organization which serves the public. There's a beautiful swimming pool with many lap lanes open much of the time. The staff is friendly and helpful.

it is so great to be back in the YMCA community! The facility is beyond amazing with classes for any fitness level and a great workout area. Just arrived back from 5 months as a snowbird in FLA and would like to thank my YMCA for putting my membership on hold. I greatly appreciate it.

Immaculate facility and friendly front desk staff

Returned to Gloucester for a caregiving respite (from NJ), where I usually swim regularly. Hoping to keep up my primary form of relaxation, I visited the
new-to-me and BEAUTIFUL! Y and asked if I could purchase a weekly pass while vacationing.
The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, kinder and accommodating, providing me with a free weekly pass which I gleefully used and enjoyed!
If and when I ever reside in Gloucester again, I will become a member asap as the staff and members -- as in years past -- were just the best!

Fresh, new, high tech but with all the old school basics, lots of classes and programs, convenient location, super friendly and helpful staff, and my health insurance pays for my membership.

All around excellent, staff and teachers and pool exercise classes, the hours and all they offer including the café,I’m at the ymca 6 days a week, I do all the classes, steam room shower everything and that Joe Dapper anything you need, go see Joe💪🏋️‍♂️🚴‍♂️

It's a clean, comfortable environment. I usually go to exercise in the evening. Donta is always very pleasant and helpful to speak with.

It's new, spacious, but could maybe use some new, different machines and some more benches. Also, spin classes get filled quickly for later morning hours, especially on weekends and the earlier ones don't. Maybe have some later morning or noon spin classes.
