Great staff, classes.

Because of what you have to offer. Those who want to Get and Stay healthy have a lot of options. Classes are a plus. Acces to a nutritionist would be a great addition

The extraordinary team, incredible amenities, and positive, inclusive culture at the Y have made a tangible difference in the health and well-being of all our participants and staff. I absolutely LOVE the Gloucester Y. I've been a member at Ipswich for 6+ years and have loved it. In the last several months they've lacked focus on the aqua programs so I opted to go to Gloucester - and I'm glad I did. Ruth's HydroFit classes are GREAT. She's fun, tough and so nice. I've also done the Saturday 7am Aqua Bootcamp with Cassie and she's spectacular. Even the members at your Y are wonderful. They were all so welcoming.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how lovely Andrea, the housekeeper is to all of us. I know Gloucester is new but it is so clean and I really appreciate it. I've never seen a housekeeper at Ipswich.

I'd appreciate it if you could email me the name of the person that Gloucester's administrator reports to......I would love to share positive feedback directly. I would prefer NOT to share this review because of my comments about Ipswich. I'm hopeful that there will be improvements soon.

The Cape Ann YMCA is beautiful! The facility is so clean, safe, well managed with countless offerings for the whole family! My personal favorite being the pool! Thank you Cape Ann Y!

The facilities are top-notch, and the staff is super helpful!

During the summer they are non existent for toddlers so we have suffered tremendously. We recently were going to switch to a chukdrens plan so we weren't paying for basically nothing because there are no classes available in the summer months but we were told our child can't use the splash pad without a full family membership. We decided since our child only used the splash pad once last year it would be a waste to pay that much for a monthly family membership when the cost of a month's membership is comparable to a season pass to water country. So to be honest I think the summer programs and activities are devastating for small children.

Any chance you can increase water pressure in the showers?
It takes 2x as long to shower due to LOW pressure, and the wait line backs up and tempers flair....

Great facility with everything you could need, very clean, very friendly and low key environment. Fitness culture can be toxic, the Y strips this away and creates a neutral, health first, family friendly environment for everyone. Thank you!!

Kids had a lot of fun. Lots of great activities (swimming, smores, arts and crafts, etc). But it also felt nice and low-key as far as just dropping off the kids and letting them have fun!

Very organized

It’s a great facility and a huge improvement over the old Y downtown. It’s obviously a hit as the parking lot is often full. Wonderful staff.

Great facility, friendly service, good value. I do think that the cleaning crew could up their game however. All six soap dispensers in the men’s locker room were empty last week - for 4 consecutive days! Lots of members grumbling about it. Not good.

We love the splash pad! The kids had a blast.

Great facility. Well kept. Issues that do arise are taken care of instead of left in a state of disrepair.

This membership changed my life. As a single mom, the amount of resources offered to me at the Y are numerous. Being able to bring my child with me to Kids' Club while I explore new fitness opportunities has helped me reclaim my body and my life. I love trying new classes and programs- even things that are out of my comfort zone are made welcoming by how kind the instructors are and the culture created by other Y members. I never would have seen myself going to "strength train together" or "rise and shine boot camp" but the Y has allowed me to make fitness a central part of my life, in a way that no other gym could. The offerings at the Cape Ann YMCA feel akin to a boutique gym but are accessible to people like me with limited resources. Thank you.

Amazing place !

My wife and I joined the YMCA Cornerstone Program. The restorative yoga has provided the basic skills to learn to relax physically, mentally and emotionally. Kirsty Yetter has inspired me to "restore and revitalize" my mind, body and spirit by concentrating on stillness and breathing. This class has improved my outlook on life and quality of life since I have managed to improve my sleeping habits, and best of all, my golf swing and other physical activities.

I recently attended the Energy Medicine and Cancer "Don't Just Survive - Thrive!" Session. Dianne Faure provided exercise techniques to relieve physical symptoms and mental/emotional symptoms. It is quite new to me so I still have a learning curve to achieve my goals. I do find it interesting and amazed on its usefulness.

So, it is almost time for me to participate in other calendar activities and I am looking forward to it. It has been a challenge so I must give you all a big thumbs up for the inspiration to heal and enjoy life. It's been a team effort so I am very thankful for the support and for all you do for our community!

The facility is so sleek and modern that I am amazed every time I go there that it is in Gloucester. Lots of aerobic and weights equipment. Many well run classes.

Great programs, always clean and people are very friendly. Mobile App needs to be better.... Particularly the program schedule lookup function.

Showers in the family shower were not ideal but otherwise, all was lovely. We had a great time.
