Opportunity for my kid to play competitive golf in a low pressure and fun environment.
Coach J and staff are amazing! Program well run!
Love it
I think its a great opportunity for First name removed to play with other kids and get a feel for game play.
This program offers the most realistic golf experience, with practice on Fridays and matches on Sunday. Other golf programs are great but none offers actual game play like PGA Jr. League.
Great experience for my son to learn the sport and experience some competition. Coach Craig at Holly Hills did a wonderful job with the program, he was always available to support the kids to make sure they had a good experience.
Our coaching staff teaches kids about more than golf. Rich Setter is a class act and sets an example for our kids of what integrity, excellence and compassion looks like. He is an example for young men like my son in both the game of golf and in how to be a good person. We are grateful for his leadership of our PGA program.
It was a great way for my son to be involved in golf
My son enjoyed playing with other kids his age. He learned about taking care of the course and proper etiquette. He learned how to be a good teammate. Coach Erick Brock was a fantastic coach. We will participate in the future
I wish it goes on year-around, weather permitting. Amazing experience for kids.
Our club’s coaches (at Bethesda Country Club) are amazing and encouraging, making the game so much fun for all the kids. Jr League has done much to get our children to the game we love.
It's a great opportunity for kids to get introduce to game at an early stage. My three kids have enjoyed it over the past 3 years.
A step up from "rec" golf. More qualified instructors, better guidance and more "on course" play.
Great coach and fun practices/matches!
The attention and interaction of the Pros, also the fostering of relationships amongst the kids.
Relaxed, team based format focussed on kids learning and having fun
I like the fact that it gave my daughter the opportunity to play Team golf
We loved our coaches
I loved how the competition was set up in the most low-pressure way (teammates, scramble, best of three, etc.). The teammate structure was especially rewarding. I also thought that the coaches for our team, as well as the others, were super supportive of all the kids.
Camaraderie among the kids. Less pressure than other youth golf events. Fun.
The coaches were great and the general atmosphere of the competition was supportive and positive. It was nice to see adults focused on improvement vs winning.
My boy love it very much.
We like that it is a casual place to have fun and learn the game of golf
Very relaxed
Great coaching, great families.
Coaches, instructions, gear, everything
I like the best ball format which allows kids to get experience with competition golf without having to play every one of their bad shots as they are learning. Good team chemistry in a traditionally individual sport
Great intro for kids into the great sport of golf.
I loved that my 5 year old got to experience competitive golf in a team format where he could make mistakes without getting discouraged. It made the game really fun for him

The ability to experience playing on a golf course.
