Consumer Testimonials
Fun environment with dedicated and knowledgeable coaches! My son really enjoyed getting to know his teammates and keening new techniques each session.
Team play and more challenges each other.
I love the fact that the kids get to play on the golf course and get hands on experience with the rules and more importantly etiquette of the game.
Brenda at Guantlet is great!
Looking forward to the next season
It is a great program for getting involved in the golf community.
Troy and Reed are great and work well with the kids.
I really liked how the kids were taught to work together. They always showed great support.
Teaches teamwork and sportsmanship!
Great program!
We love it because kids make their own choices! No parent caddie. It’s where they grow their own game and think about their shot making choices.
Everything. Coach Whit was incredible. Format was great. Kids looked forward to each week.
Matches are great format. Would emphasize pace of play more. Kids are learning bad habits about slow play.
Being able to get kids out on the course with their peers.
its a great experience!
Great scramble set up and good positive atmosphere. We are based in MD but spend summer in NH, so we are able to participate in 2 programs. One area of feedback is that the NH league has good pairings with similar competition but the MD league seems to pair our team against much younger, less experienced teams... so that's one area for improvement in terms of consistency b/w programs, but we love the program overall!
I love the opportunity it provides for the children to learn and connect.
I also appreciate the support the children receive from coaches and other leaders.
It is a great organization that does a wonderful job introducing kids to the game of golf. I love that parents are allowed to follow their children around during the tournaments. I love the format of the scramble, the flags, etc. that all work together to allow kids to have fun, shake off bad shots, etc. as they are learning. It is a highlight of our summer!
Friendly, family oriented. The coaches care about developing and improving golf skills, also seem to genuinely enjoy teaching the kids.
My son has had a great time playing in the local PGA Jr. league that we joined and made numerous friends. The coach is great and works well with the kids in the program
Coaches and staff are knowledgeable and good with the kids
Great coaching. Good schedule and really liked the family golf for stress free reps.
A good opportunity for young golfers to play the games and learn real life lessons from playing the games.
Great opportunity for kids to learn about golf and competition in a safe learning environment.
Great all around
Great format for all levels of golfer. We have played Jr League in years past but our son had moved into strictly individual stroke play over the past couple of years. Our experience with Jr League prior to this year was that it was a great introductory level for tournament play for inexperienced golfers. After moving to VA last year, we found a nationally competitive team for our son. He loves the team format, as it provides a nice break from the grind of individual golf and allows his to experience the team camaraderie that is not present when the kids are playing individual stroke play.
We like that PGA Jr. League gives kids the chance to learn golf in a fun, team-based setting. The focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and building friendships makes it such a positive experience. I also appreciate the supportive coaching and how the scramble format keeps it fun while still helping them improve their skills. It’s been a great way for our family to be involved and cheer them on together.
