It was great to see the participating players encouraging one another and growing together.
The team aspect. Making friends and having fun
The BEST!!! Coach Bill has been the absolute best coach and we are very grateful for him and his leadership! Thank you so much for allowing my son to have this incredible opportunity!
It exposes kids to more than just basketball, football and soccer. It’s a sport that they can play their entire life. Although they may take it for granted all are great courses. I’m actually a little bit jealous. I look forward to them playing next year.
It was my 9 year old son's first time playing. He loved loved the shirts and PGA hat - he thought they were so cool (and it made him feel like the big golf guys we see on Tv).
He had a great experience, learned a lot, and loved being on the course every week. As parents, we liked the length of it, the 2 practices a week, and getting to travel to other courses.

Coach Ronald Davis is absolutely AMAZING and truly one of a kind!
Great experience into competitive golf. The team play format really boded well with my son. Now he is playing on his school's golf team.
The tournament style experience and Allstars for my daughter.
great introduction to the competitive atmosphere for beginning golfers
Our coaches were great and my son enjoyed playing for the season!!
The last tournament it was super hot and Pine tree did not provide golf carts to parents, however the course was closed for tournament, so very confusing on why we couldn’t use golf carts when it was SO hot (in 100s) there were no bathrooms or water fill stations on any of the golf course, do not want to play at pine tree again!!! It was a terrible experience!!
It was a fantastic experience for my son to learn the game from terrific instructors while still having fun with other kids. He looked forward to each lesson and match.
Everything. All of the kids were supportive of each other. All of the coaches were patient. My grandson loved it.
Southern Gayles has the best youth program I have ever seen.
The opportunity for my child to play golf with other children his age in a professional and encouraging manner.
Great learning opportunities for young golfers!
Very well run and wonderful to get kids into golf as well as interested in the game!
Our coach was incredibly knowledgeable. Further, it inspired my daughter to love the sport.
Everything
The structure of the league. My son was able to work on the mechanics and then the next day they put them to the test on the course. The instructors were with them every step of the way encouraging them and explaining what went well and why a shot might not have gone well.
We really enjoyed PGA Jr. League Southern Gayles! There was a lot of hands-on instruction and guidance. It helped my son to build confidence in his golf game and we had a ton of fun!
Getting a feel for pace of play is essential for young golfers
Team play in supportive environment. Learn basic golf skills. Learn course management and etiquette.
Everything! It was a positive experience for my son. He learned a lot, received great instruction, tips and technique, along with golf course etiquette. The parents were friendly and supportive. We enjoyed playing on different courses. The whole experience was worthwhile. We will sign up again.
I like the early development. Competition and social aspects of the game. It is a sport that can be played for life.
I loved the match format and the teaching of encore etiquette
Casual instruction and player and coach camaraderie, coupled with a “low intensity” competitive environment
PGA JR. League was a huge deal for my son. He showed up expecting to learn and improve and he did both. Our coach was outstanding, patient, and knowledgeable. Cade made lots of new friends and enjoyed going to the range. We plan to return next spring.
The coaches are great and my son likes them. The team mate are great and he learned valuable lessons about golf. Can’t wait until the next one starts.

The experience of competing, having the youth learn from one another and having a safe place to enjoy themselves, make mistakes, and just simply keep growing in golf.
