Just a fun way to play golf.
Events are small.
My son had an outstanding time competing against others in a team environment. The team is responsible for making decisions on which ball to play, type of shot and must work together. My son's team had an awesome coach that provided quality leadership and instruction. This was my son's first experience with PGA Jr. League and he and I both couldn't be happier with the result.
Match play and time limit for matches were good.
My son very much enjoyed the PGA Jr. League. This was his first year playing. It gave him an opportunity to better himself at the game of golf while also making new friends.
We like the team aspect of the matches.
It gets the kids out on the course playing competitive golf
Good platform to introduce young golfers to the game

Earlier this week, First name removed wrapped up match play in his PGA Jr league. Now, I’m not one to write product reviews or post testimonials, but I will say this PGA Jr. league has been one of the best youth sports experiences I’ve ever been a part of (as a participant or a parent) Here’s a 7 year old boy that’s tried various sports, but had never stepped foot on a golf course. Now, 2 months later, he’s had the opportunity to learn from some outstanding coaches and play multiple rounds on 7 different courses, including two very nice RTJ courses and a PGA Sr. Tour stop. He’s learned about the rules of the game, the mechanics/strategy of the game, and best of all, he’s leaned lessons in patience, hard work, dedication, focus, stick-to-itiveness, respect, integrity, etc. Weekly practices don’t just focus on the sport, they teach on different character traits also, and that’s so refreshing. Every player, parent, and coach that we encountered, regardless of which team, were so welcoming throughout the season, so encouraging; everybody wants these children to enjoy learning the game of golf and wants them to succeed. It’s a great feeling being surrounded by so much positivity. I’ve loved every minute of being on the course with him as his “Daddy Caddie” (as he calls me) Seeing his eyes light up when he hits a good tee shot, chips a ball on the green, or sinks a putt makes my heart happy.... It’s equally as fulfilling having him come to me when he swings and misses or shanks a ball and starts to get frustrated. Like a microcosm of life I guess, it’s nice to be able to be there for him in good times and bad. I’m so happy Evy decided to give the PGA Jr. League a chance and I’d highly recommend this program to anyone even remotely interested in golf; it’s building a love for a sport he can hopefully enjoy for a lifetime.
The amount of practice and time my son got to spend with other youth golfers.
It is a great way for young golfers to learn the game and to play competitively.
The Children learn the etiquette of golf and learn to enjoy the game.
My son was able to play different golf courses other than his “home” course. This was his favorite part about the pga jr league.
The kids had a great time playing.
It's just an overall great junior program and a wonderful way to draw more kids to your facility as well as increase your bottom line while bringing more revenue to your club and it's owners. I love PGA Junior League this is my 6th year coaching and I've enjoyed every minute of it while getting to spend some quality time with my daughter.

It is a wonderful way to practice and expose kids to golf.
