My son is learning to love golf in a relaxed, but structured environment.
We had a great experience - My son made the AllStars for the second straight year - and our team - Auburn, AL - made it all the way to the finals and lost because the Huntsville Team is so good. I do wish that they would have received a medal or trophy since they out so much work into being there - Or taken a photo or something that would have made all their hard work worth it. We will play again and I have recommended it to many people

I just love to see the kids compete and see how much they enjoy it when they have success. It's just a good way to learn how to win and also how to lose and accept it gracefully.
The team was able to compete against other PGA Jr. groups.
It's a great program to prepare kids for competitive golf.
I love that it builds confidence in the kids playing and allows them to work on their strengths and weaknesses. I also love that it allows them to make new friendships!
Good game for kids. Really enjoyed it.
I love kids having the chance to learn the game in a semi-competitive environment.
Scrambling helps the children relax some. The instructor is great
My son loved having a match to play weekly! We enjoyed playing different organizations from different areas of town.
The ability to compete in a less stressful situation but still learn what it means to play golf.
Kids getting started in the game early and not only receiving instruction, but learning lifelong lessons.
Our son really enjoys the format and the ability to compete with a partner.
Great way to introduce kids to the game and grow the game.
It was a great experience for my son. Very organized, and teaches good disciplines to kids other than golf techniques
We loved the team work and positive atmosphere. Thank you Jr. PGA League at Magnolia Grove!!!
The opportunity to play different courses
It is a great entry point for young inexperienced junior golfers that would be intimidated playing their own ball each shot.
I thought PGA Jr. Was very organized and a lot of fun!
The coaches and staff at Bentbrook Golf Course were excellent with the amount of time they took with each kid.
I was also impressed with how the older players took time to teach the younger players the rules of the game and mentored them through the season.
I was proud to see at the awards banquet that all kids did not get a trophy and that trophies had to be earned. That helped me to explain to my son how hard work pays off.
We are looking forward to many more years on the pga junior league team.
It encourages personal growth in the sport as well and working with a team and sportsmanship.
The coach to kid ratio. Positive learning environment, and invaluable sportsmanship skills
The opportunity to have our son play in a match with other golfers.
The opportunity for youth to grow in the sport in a positive, progressive developmental environment. It is important to introduce youth to the sport in a manner that not only teaches but motivates them. The format for junior league is great in introducing competition but with the safety net of a partner and with a non-aggressive scoring system. The partner and scoring approach is also helpful in balancing vastly diverse skill sets.
Allowed all levels to compete. Great exposure for young golfers to different course, the rules of golf and competitive play. Allowed for success for all golfers.
My 11 yr old son loved it
great coach!!! good etiquette training and game fundamentals
good fellowship
The small class sizes, one on one lessons, The tour.
The team format is what made it the most fun for my son. So much so, that he has asked to do it again next year.
