I don’t know. I only go for the pool.

I love the fitness center. It is HUGE and has all of the equipment I need. I haven't used the pool yet, but I like that it is available.

I have just started to visit this YMCA, but the facilities are well maintained. The staff I have mer are friendly and efficient.

I enjoy the fitness center, the common areas, and the new hydromassage beds and workout space and room. I also enjoy using the auxiliary rooms at times as they are sometimes less busy and offer more room and quiet.
I love water aerobics but unfortunately the class workout area has been reduced by a lane so now 25 swimmers are cramped up due to one or two swimmers swimming laps. Many people who have been in the water aerobics program for 10 years are quitting due to the over crowded conditions. It’s a shame that the needs of a few are so severely effecting so many. I will be looking for alternatives myself. I hope the Y can resolve this problem.

Lots of class variety and times Great instructors.
My sons loved the sports camp and had been our only camp where they could not stop talking about how much they liked the instructors!

Excellent, all the good stuff plus a great staff
I like the excellent fitness classes. I love Jan the instructor who teaches on Monday at 6. She is knowledgeable about exercise physiology. Her classes are always fun and challenging.
I also love the Les Mills classes.
The lakewood ymca is always clean and the staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly.

Nice facility
I am an older dad, trying to keep up with my kids and enjoy them on their level, NOT GONNA WORK!!! But what I can do is be in the best shape that my body and mind allows. It is a great environment for me... like mindedness, clean and encouraging. I love my Y, and in several ways have never felt better.
Is there life at 60+?
ABSOLUTLEY.... just got to live it large and in charge. Fitness is a mindset, end of report! Either you want it or you don't. Everything that the Y offers can work for anyone at and stage.
You just need to pick up the heaviest weight ....THE FRONT DOOR!
