The kids have fun. Well run with the coaches we have. There is enough time between games that we don’t have to run out. However, one thing that we really don’t like is that grandparents aren’t able to come to watch. They want to be involved in the kids sports and it’s not possible with the two person limit. It’s very unfortunate.
I've only just started at the Y in the chair yoga programs. Everyone has been very helpful and welcoming. I hope to make it a permanent part of my weekly routine of trying to stay healthy and keep this body moving.
It's a large area that fits a decent amount of equipment. There needs to be more machines for the legs. You took away some of the old machines (I get it, you wanted new ones). I preferred some of those over some of the new ones. Overall it's ok I guess.
The Jr. Cavs program at the Lakewood YMCA is a great program. The YMCA staff and volunteers made it a seamless and fun experience for everyone. The emphasis on skill development and equal playing time makes it easy for any child to play and have a good experience.
I love tis location!! It's beautiful! AND, the class selection and instructors are FANTASTIC!!
I like the variety of group exercise classes, both types of classes and the times of classes. All the instructors are very good.
I use the YMCA specifically for work outs. I don't attend any classes, but they always seem full, so I'm sure many members take advantage of them. I workout on a treadmill and always find them clean and working properly. The staff always greets us when we come in and says goodbye as we leave. Great service!

I basically use the pool.
It would be nicer if it was bigger because some time we have to share a lane or wait.
I enjoy the wide variety of fitness classes.
Swimming/ the aquatics program and lifeguards are exceptional
Lap swim is great (when water isn’t below 84 degrees!!) and variety of class offerings.
Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. I like that there are class offerings at a bunch of different times and the instructors make you feel comfortable joining a class even if it's your first time,
I love my SS class with Andrea on Mondays and wish she did that on Friday’s too rather than chair yoga.
Its all inclusive, with my medicare membership. The employees are FAB!

The Y has everything. I have into other gyms and keep coming back to the YMCA. I always feel welcomed. I have coached volleyball at the lakewood location and my kids played sports there.
I use your pool, gym, and exercise/weight room several times a week, less often in summer when I use the Foster Pool and outdoor basketball courts at Lakewood Park. The lockers are clean and in working order. Showers are clean.
The staff say hello and treat me like a valued customer. Clearly the staff are well trained in the public service mission of the organization.
The Y also employs some people with disabilities who might not find work elsewhere, and this is a good thing.
The Lakewood YMCA has become a valued part of my cycling routine. I work in downtown Cleveland, about 7.5 miles away, and the 30-minute lunchtime ride along Detroit Avenue often leads me to the Y—whether for a cool drink in the summer or a warm, welcoming spot in the winter. During my visits, I’ve enjoyed using the second-floor weight room and participating in the cycling classes. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and they make me feel at home. The Lakewood Y truly enhances my workday and my overall wellness.
Everything!
I love the Silver Sneakers classes!

Silver sneakers with the twins -dance and strength . My doctor says” Don’t you dare stop load barring exercises.” My former physical therapist thought my Y workouts were better than he could offer.
