I Love the senior classes. it's just what I was looking for since I've retired. I also do a few others such as Shelly's cycle class. The instructors are amazing, they do a great job!
I love the older adult classes. I've been participating for nine years and have met some wonderful people in the classes as well as getting fit and having fun. The instructors are well-trained and make the workouts enjoyable!

Do wish more people allowed in pools, it’s great exercise for the seniors and now being restricted to certain numbers, not allowing some to get badly needed workouts in water. Time to open things up again.
Also...would love to see people’s faces again, how much longer going to have to wear masks?
I love all of the program offerings at the French Creek locations. Every class I have taken has been WONDERFUL!!!! Your instructors are energetic and experienced. Each one of them change up the routines with every class!!! They make exercise fun and not just the same boring routine. Entire staff is friendly.

I like the cleanliness of the facility, the variety of exercise equipment available and the choice of group exercises that help me stay on target with my exercise goals. The YMCA trainers for the group exercise classes are awesome and do an excellent job leading these fitness sessions.
The French Creek Y is always very clean and safe feeling. Furthermore it does not feel “too crowded”, making me feel safe while getting in my workouts.
Staff is so nice and friendly. Helpful too!

The ladies at the desk are SO NICE! Gail is GREAT in my aquasize class. I wish she could ad a Friday class to go with the Monday and Wednesday classes. I also enjoy the arthritis classes on Tuesday and Thursday.

Need more lifeguards for longer swimming hours.

I have been taking swimming lessons with Elaine and have been thrilled with her instruction, coaching and support. She is an amazing person at the YMCA!
I appreciate the facility because the fitness room has new and or newer equipment and trainers that will take a moment to correct someone using the equipment incorrectly. The pools are available to members and have finest classes. Also, the lifeguards wear masks all the time. The French Creek Y did a great job with social distancing and disinfecting the Y since the pandemic started.

I like the AOA exercise group and activities.
I tell all my friends that French Creek Y is the Taj Mahal of Y's.
The teachers for the AOA group classes are wonderful. I enjoy the Chair Yoga classes with Kathy and have discovered the Arthritis class with Stella. The safety precautions employed to keep us all safe during the pandemic are very reassuring.
The variety of programs offered!! Plus the fact that the instructors change it up every week so boredom doesn't set in.
Enough variety to keep the workouts interesting and challenging
I like to swim every day in the rec pool, but because of the shortage of life guards it isn't possible. The Y must pay the guards more so they get get more guards, so the pool can be open more. You have competition from other cities who have pools and pay the guards more. Please do something about this. I use to swim 6 days a week at French Creek Y. Now it's only 3 days WEEK.
