Walked into Sport Clips looking like I was halfway through a “grow it out” phase and halfway through a midlife crisis. Asked for a gentleman’s cut — long on top, short on the sides — because I’m committed to growing it out… but not committed to looking crazy in the meantime.
My stylist absolutely understood the assignment. She kept the length up top like I asked, cleaned up the sides perfectly, and somehow made it look intentional instead of accidental. The blend was smooth, the lines were sharp, and I left looking like I have my life together (at least from the neck up).
Didn’t feel rushed, great conversation, and now I actually feel confident through this awkward grow-out stage. 10/10 — will be back before I start looking like a science experiment again.

Stacey is great and does an amazing job! She is very knowledgeable, friendly and gives personal care every time. She is the only person we trust to cut my son’s hair.
I like sportsclip a lot esp when britanny does my hair but unfortunately my last visit it wasnt her and i wasnt that happy. I was clear about not touching my top hair but she still did. And i didnt got shampooed. Britanny usually asks what i want and also reads what on my prefered cut.
