I like yoga where you get a workout, but still leave relaxed. Corepower is great at that. It also doesn't get too goofy (breathe through your eyes, transcend your aura. . .) like some studios.

The yoga sculpt classes are great

First of all- I haven't had the time to get to a desktop computer and type out a YELP review for my first experience last week at Core- YOGA Marina Del Rey. So..I would like to highlight some of what I intend to elaborate on when I do get to a desk-top.
First of all; I have taken Yoga classes- practiced solo for many years now;and I am always interested in taking a class- classes from a different - new to me studio.
So..just came upon this particular studio by chance a couple of weeks ago.And as I walked into the studio; I was greeted so warmly and friendly by two female staff that thought I must be in HEAVEN!!!!
Due respect- I do not remember their names but one had dark hair and a tattoo or so on her arms-and the other young lady looked as if she might b from Hawaii! They welcomed me and said, " We have a week's free offer!"
I said to myself; YEAH! esp with Southern Can gas prices soaring !!!! That'll work!
Then ; they gave me flyer but I wasn't able to return until a week later....which I did. So..a day last week I arrived about a half- hr before the C2 10:30 am class which I had decided to take.This time as I entered the studio and with all my regaglia with me- yoga mat etc- I was greeted ever so warmly as before by 3diffent lady staff!!!!! whose names I do remember bec I spent a longer time period there- Ms. Hope, Brianna, and ; well, I almost rem all three names! Due respect! I was then given a mini tour- then class began- It turned out that Ms.Hope taught the class.....And the class was just MAGNIFICENT! And Yoga teachers do not get much better than Ms.Hope!!
In conclusion; apart from the extraordinary cleanliness of the studio itself! the amenities which this studio provides are outstanding! Indiv private changing areas! Showers, lockers with keys! Grooming amenities!!!
I'm like the late James Brown- " I have got to b CLEAN!!" 'AHHH!' ESP after being in a sweat which elevates into one of his COLD SWEATS!!!! And also my late father, who taught me to always keep yr PA up!! Personal Appearance,! And incidentally he was born in Denver, Colo!! Circa 1911.!
So, the fact that Core Yoga is based in Denver....for me, was already a selling point!
Many GREAT THINGS- and people have come from Denver!!!
Can't wait until my next class!!.

Teachers are amazing at this studio!!!

The instructors are great.
The studio is really clean and nice.
The two classes I’ve taken (yoga 2 and sculpt) are great.

I've only taken one class but I liked the music and the work out - it was sculpt! Looking forward to practicing yoga:)
