I like the facility and all the equipment. Love the pool and the guards and staff are very courteous and friendly and helpful. I’ve never had a negative experience except one time a man entered the boys restroom instead of walking down the hall to the grown ups facility. I had my two grandsons in there changing into swim suits so didn’t like a man walking in there. He took care of his business and walked out but I didn’t like it. Other than that one time thing I’m really pleased with the gym.
Classes for seniors

We like the exercise equipment and track, gym, outdoor training room, pool and classes. The team makes sure we're enjoying our stay and also we have support from the personal trainers for body scan or training sessions.
I would suggest more hours on weekends for more workout time or classes. Allow more guest passes in the future and 2 week programs. If they could have a set up for success classes or tutoring for high school students.
Lemonade or fruit punch stands, bake sales for community fundraisers or walk for a cause for the YMCA Houston.
The Vic Coppinger Family YMCA is an awesome place, but what truly makes it special is the incredible coaching staff.
The coaches here are simply the best. Special shoutout to Coach Madison, Coach Christina, and Coach Jaylin—they pour their heart and soul into teaching the sport of volleyball. Their dedication, passion, and genuine care for the players are unmatched.
Thanks to their incredible guidance and mentorship, my daughter has excelled to a whole new level in her game. She honestly wouldn't be where she is today without them. If you are looking for a supportive, top-tier environment where young athletes can truly grow and thrive, this is the place to be!

Classes, instructors, pickleball, mahjong
I really like the MWF classes taught by Colleen, Gina, and Tera and happy that Tera has been able to find times for two new strength training classes geared more for seniors. In addition, the new mahjong setup is great. I have been wanting to learn and find a group of folks who also desire to learn and play. Lastly I am happy to see the AOA resurrected.
I am encouraged by our new director, Nicole, as she is just what we needed, professional, and committed to make our Y a better environment for everyone.
I would really like to see official Pickleball courts
Level of exercises offered in Silver Sneakers, yoga and line dancing classes.
Instructions are calmly tracking class participants and responding to many of us individually. It feels safer for me if I ever needed attention.
i am happy a mahjong group has been established. i am also thrilled that a new AOA leader has been appointed. also the new director has already made some changes that will make our Y a better place to workout and make new friends,
