well organized
I need to walk and it is better to use your equipment (treadmill) than being in the weather. I exercise on a stationary bicycle too. Right now that is about all I can do. I am housebound right now. I was in the hospital from 1-6 to 1-13.
We use the wellness center, the child care, the sports program and personal training program. We love them all.
Yoga with Dominique
I love the Foster Y... it is spotless and the staff is friendly and helpful!! Great classes!
The child watch option! I would like to see more options in the evening.
Exercise classes
We love all the programs!
The Group Classes
They have programs at convenient times.
Everyone is so friendly, staff and members. Facilities are clean and well maintained and my trainer, Mike is the best.
I like that there are classes for the older generation, especially if they can't participate in classes geared towards younger people. But, the fact that any age can join or try out any class is refreshing.
The only downside, I wish this particular Y had an indoor heated pool for water aerobics classes that the seniors could use year round. It's very beneficial for people with arthritis.
The program I enjoy is tailored for my age group and does not create any stress.
I am an AOA and I feel that the exercise programs help me a lot. I look forward to exercising and meeting with the other people that exercise.
Programs lift the spirits and builds communities..
I like the classes offered and the childcare. Also, we just signed up for basketball for my daughter and are excited to try that. The Les Mills classes are great. Good workouts and instructors.
There are so many programs offered - a fit for anyone.
keep kids in accion
I like that you offer classes like Foreverwell Stretch and the water exercise class both of which are particularly well suited to seniors. There should be senior appropriate classes everyday.
I enjoy the 5:30 am Pilates or body flow class
Exercise classes and other activities for seniors.
I do the Silver Sneakers program with Eliot Perez. And the class is fun and exciting and invigorating every time. I feel so good after I leave. Eliot knows how to make it fun while I am working my aXX off!!
I feel part of the community there. The people are kind and welcoming. There are also monthly luncheons, bus trips to interesting places and lots of fun events to give us the opportunity for fellowship and developing friendships.
In the summertime I also do the water aerobics by Eliot. I actually got a light tan from working out in the pool! First time since college.
And while I’m bragging about the YMCA, I have to mention the great personal training. Andrew Hoffart was a great and positive trainer. I had sessions with him over several months when I started exercising at the YMCA after having gastric sleeve surgery. Thanks to the YMCA and the surgery I have lost over 110 lbs! Thank you.
I've only been to this location twice but it will probably become my new home gym after moving away from the downtown Tellepsen Y. I primarily use the lifting and cardio area. 90% of the equipment I normally use is present and I've asked Jason, a Y employee if the other 10% were hidden. A prone leg curl machine, a glute machine, a super squat machine, and a running track. While not available he did spend time finding alternatives to the machines and I'll learn to adjust. Also, towel service would be awesome but I understand how much work that is. I love the Y and it's mission.
I love the classes and childcare. I feel very comfortable on the gym floor at the Y. My favorite teacher is Eliot! I go to his classes regularly.
Clean.
Great class with Richard. Very friendly staff.
Morgan, Cynthia, John, Amelie and Dana are the best
The variety.
friendly

I love the group fitness classes, though I wish there were more in the afternoon that weren't geared towards seniors....like maybe 2 or 3 o'clock for mom's to go to before picking kids up at school.
