I don't really do any of the programs, but I think the thing I like the best about the Y, is that I feel safe. There are other reasons as well like the showers, and if I go there at different times there still aren't that many people in the gym. I just feel good all around about going

I exercise on the equipment in the exercise room.
Usually can get on a machine although some are not in service. There is only one machine I can use. Some maintenance would help this situation. The second machine that I want is not usable by me, size 14 shoe.
because my big foot won't go into one machine's pedal...the strap is very short, cannot be opened up so I cannot use this 2nd machine. Replace the cut-off strap.
(Take a good strap off another machine of which you have several. Then, two machines would serve me. Less waiting. Put the pedal with short strap on the other machine)

I love water excise it is the best. Shevon, give us a great workout. It starts when you enter the Y, Mary at the desk is so friendly and nice calling you by your name. Joe always caring and there to help. Great team.
I love the variety of groups exercise classes that are offered and how great the instructors are at what they do. I also love the youth programs for my children and the child watch care that is offered. Thank you Fort bend YMCA for providing a family centered atmosphere for myself and my children to feel at welcomed.
I like the instructors, especially Kristen and Misty. The exercises we do have help so much in keeping us seniors healthy. I like the relationships that we have developed among all the Seniors that go to the Y.
I like the low impact cardiologist classes. Our instructor always appears to be having as much fun as we are.
She also comes up with imagative ideas to.make class fun.
Best Choices For Seniors
The equipment is always available and the weight room is always clean and in order. Also sanitizing stations all over the weight room. Also YMCA employees are always there to help you.
