Love the equipment and clientel.
All activities and programs meet the needs of all ages. However, I do wish Silver Sneakers could have a time slot for after hours as some of us are still working or at least I will be soon.

Do not participate in programs or activities
Good availability of classes and variety. The wellness room is clean.
While the kids programs are in session, the group room A has the tv for virtual classes, could the kids use the other rooms to leave that room for classes please.
I love all the classes and instructors! They're so welcoming and helpful to new people. I love that many instructors offer modifications for various athletic levels!
The water fitness classes, aqua zumba and the wellness center. Educational classes for seniors as well as the socializing with other members. ForeverWell senior trips.

I'm impressed so far with the Silver Sneakers Class. Everyone is nice and welcoming. The instructor who is Ms Raquel is very nice and also so welcoming
YMCA offers a variety of things you can do to stay active.
I am still fairly new so I haven't had the opportunity to participate in any programs. But I do use the gym. Which stays pretty clean. And the customer service at the gym from the front desk to the gym attendants is very professional and courteous.
My husband and I enjoy YMCA Adaptive Basketball for our daughter.
The YMCA very good but there’s issues with the pool activities 1-the pool not covered and that make the swimming very hard and not healthy with the summer heat 2-the pool stuff very complicated rules they ask the adults catch the kids by hand all the time not even make him swim in front of me 3-there’s break 10 minutes during the swimming and that make the kids so cold or shivering 4-the ymca building freezing and I can’t take the kids to change their clothes

Everyone is very welcoming and can answer any questions that you have.
Instructors are knowledgeable and the facility is nice.

Zumba
Currently, I participate in Silver Sneaker exercises. I enjoyed my classes and the instructors.
The rules at the pool need to be relaxed. I understand safety, but I think a better balance is attainable, especially with your zero entry section. Otherwise, you run the risk of sucking all the enjoyment out of swimming.
The Y is accessible to my home, the environment is also friendly.
I like the exercise classes, the pool, and the programs for kids. Very family oriented.

I dislike always being told to smile during group fitness classes. I'm not there to perform or slap on a fake smile. I go there after a long day at work to focus on myself and my health. I cannot fathom why it is so important to the instructors that I smile.
I do prefer group classes at the cinco location specifically because I've never been told to smile there, while it is something that happens weekly at Langham. You have no idea what someone is dealing with outside of that one class. Why do I owe them to smile for 60 minutes while I'm sweating and concentrating?
Nothing will come of this. I've completed several surveys for the Y and nothing ever happens or improves. The only time you care is when there is a threat to cancel the membership.
My membership has increased $15 dollars over a relatively short period of time. I'd almost pay more to not be told to smile when I do not want to.
