My son enjoys playing in the basketball court
Love the fact that you can go to classes during the day or in the evening. Also loads of classes. The staff are so welcoming and helpful.
Equipment, cleanliness and amenities, classes
The variety and frequent schedules
I love the classes. The insteuctors are the best! Always prepared, on time and with a great attitude!
Parking is convenient and available. Front desk staff is competent and friendly. Second floor facilities are excellent. Do not participate in any programs or group activities -- only use weight lifting equipment.
I love the availability and variety of group classes there. I can almost always find a cardio class to take during the week.
I like the diversity of programs and the atmosphere of YMCA
I love Shbam, Yoga, Body Pump and wish you had more classes at the 8:30-10:30 time or at the 4:30-6:30 time that are not just dedicated for retired seniors (who could likely come any time of day). I particularly would enjoy a good, strong pilates class, not one that is more like yoga/stretch.
Also, I go to the Weekley Y for their Barre classes as it seems Trotter doesn't have a similar one.
Group exercise classes
Up to date facilities, clean and well maintained, friendly staff, not overcrowded, plenty of fitness classes, overall mission and contribution to the community, great value for miney
There is a huge assortment of activities available with good hours. The facilities are clean and well presented and the staff always friendly and helpful. There is definitely a community atmosphere.
Great facility and exercise classes
You have something for everyone
Great classes
Great instructors
Always clean
Many activities and fitness programs for older adults. Leaders/instructor are excellent, cheerful and helpful.
Variety of times and activities
I particularly enjoy the Enhanced Fitness for Seniors as well as the Women's Work-out facilities.
I admire the Gardening Group but between Houston's heat and my neuro-muscular issues, I have decided not to participate.
Many options for classes and youth activities
I am a big fan of the masters swim program.
I also used to use the facility at lunch for weight and spin classes but now work closer to downtown so go there instead. Still a very nice Y!!
It is gret
summer activities were great but lax for families that had travel.
I like working on the machines, and that I can go at my own pace. I'm not involved in any activites or programs.
I mainly work out on resistannce equipment, and spinning bike, and ARK.
I do go to programs that seem what I would like to hear or learn more about.
The people are friendly and helpful, and the environment is clean.
Clean facility. Friendly staff.
Great instructors and a good variety of classes
The staff out front is always helpful and friendly.
A positive atmosphere
The instructors ... their training and enthusiasm and kindness....and the facility itself...entire staff is kind.
I love love love your yoga classes.
Although I love Trotter there is one thing that need your attention in the steam room and its not naked men for Christ sake, However, this steam room needs to be sprayed down with a bleach solution nightly. It smells very bad, and is un-healthy.

I love that the Trotter has great teachers/ instructors who have longevity with the Y... For example Rachelle, who has been teaching the Tuesday, Thursday spinning class for as long as I remember, Polly, your amazing yoga teacher, and so many more great teachers!
Pete, and Rachel for spinning, so good as well!
I think the people at the front desk are professional and empathetic. I have seen them work well with every age person. I love the Trotter YMCA!
