We like Newark Mathnasium very much. In particular, James the GM has been really solid throughout, from introductions to onboarding to keeping in touch on how our boys are doing. They really like the positive, fun, and productive atmosphere at the center.

I have an 11-year-old daughter who was struggling in math. I signed her up for the summer. She goes once a week for an hour. She actually looks forward to going to her tutoring. She says she is learning and likes being challenged, and that the tutors there are kind and explain it to her. I would definitely recommend this tutoring to any parent who is looking to help their child become stronger at math.

Good experience

My daughter was behind in math. She did not have the confidence and experience in math until she started attending Mathnasium. She confident and even creates math problems on her own to figure out.

Sophia really enjoys coming to the classes, she is learning a lot and loves to share what she has leant. The classes are giving her much more confidence in studying math & the classes will be very helpful with math homework once school starts again.

I love that my kids are able to practice math during the summer without me hovering over them. They are especially motivated by the prizes.

We would be able to come more often if there were morning hours. Currently, we are limited by the late opening time.

My 9 year old son has been attending since the end of June 2026 and in just a little over a month the tutors have helped him build up his math confidence going into the 4th grade. It is explained and broken down so that he understands and can problem solve in areas that he is struggling in. I like how they allow them to work on their binders independently and ask any questions if help is needed and not just hovering over the students. All of the teachers are very good and supportive and make his sessions comfortable while keeping him focused and on track. My son looks forward to going to his sessions 3 times a week.

I'm really happy with Mathnasium. The staff know all of the kids and parents by name and are so welcoming so it's a friendly environment the minute you walk through the door. Kids may not always work with the same tutor every time they come in for a session, but this has never been an issue. My kids often comment on how great all of the different tutors are.

We decided to try Mathnasium for the first time after getting raving reviews from other family members, who live in another state, and we were not disappointed at all. Naresh runs a very clean, structured and efficient institute. The tutors are all knowledgeable, easy-to-work with and focused. Jesus was especially outstanding. We will definitely share our experiences and we will continue to challenge ourselves there.
