My daughter has always been an average to slightly above-average math student, but Mathnasium helped her become much more confident and less stressed about math. It provided a supportive and encouraging environment where she felt comfortable learning and growing.
She was making steady progress throughout the year, but after the recent change in ownership, I noticed an even greater positive impact. The new Center Director became personally involved in monitoring students' progress and supporting their individual needs. As a result, my daughter scored above the state average on her state assessments and has consistently been earning A+ grades on her assignments.
Another improvement we greatly appreciate is the communication with parents. The Center Director regularly keeps us informed about our child's progress, which helps us stay engaged and supportive at home.

This is a great learning experience for kids, and the tutors are very hands-on with problems. I would highly recommend parents to invest their kids time in a program driven learning that prepares kids not only for current level skill but future state as the kids go past each mastery checks.

Mathnasium of Glendale has been an amazing experience for our family! Evette and her team are kind, caring, supportive, and truly invested in their students' success.
Before choosing this location, I visited a few others and felt pressured to sign up and pay right away. That was not the case with Evette. She took the time to make both my daughter and me feel comfortable, answered our questions, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Because of that positive experience, we decided to enroll here, and it has been one of the best decisions we've made.
Since starting, my daughter has made tremendous progress. Like any child, there are days when she doesn't feel like going, but she always comes out smiling and in a great mood. Her confidence in math has grown significantly, her test scores have improved, including her state assessment results, and she is developing a much stronger foundation. We are confident that the small learning gaps she still has will continue to close, helping prepare her for Integrated Math.
Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience. Most importantly, our daughter is progressing faster than we anticipated and feels much more confident in her abilities. My daughter V joined Summer before 2nd grade. End of 1st yr iReady Math measured early/mid-Kinder level (our school had an extremely tumultuous 1st grade yr with many teacher changes) and I immediately knew we needed to get ahead of the challenge. Having won an 8-session gift to Mathnasium, we immediately took advantage. The staff was so helpful, discussing the honest progress we should expect to see. At the end of 2nd grade, V’s iReady Math measured her at “end of 2nd grade level”, right where Dr. Johnson and said she would be!! We are very grateful for their attention to V each time she attends!
We have had a great experience with Mathnasium. The staff and instructors are kind, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping students succeed. Since my child started attending, I have noticed a significant improvement in both math skills and overall confidence. My kids seemed to be very motivated doing math and somehow not even for the sake of the prizes they can earn with stars. That’s a win for us! We send them in 2 hrs each week and it’s a lot in one sitting but not only they enjoy the challenge but also get confidence over a topic they learn at school, better yet, more advanced than school curriculum.
