Despite his initial reluctance to take math classes, my son has been thoroughly engaged and eager to attend weekly since the very first day. He displays excellent focus during the sessions and leaves happy, thanks to their reward system that offers small toys or squishies for completing exercises
We joined Mathnasium not because our kids really needed the help, but because the public school is unable to teach them at their appropriate grade levels. My kids are now scoring well into the next grade level in Math, which is beyond our expectations. The staff are friendly and make the sessions fun with rewards for certain milestones. I would highly recommend Mathnasium to anyone, whether your child is behind or if the public school just isn't challenging your child enough.

We have had an great experience with Mathnasium. Jannelle and her team have been amazing and we are very grateful for them. They have created an environment where kids love to learn and ask questions. Our son is always excited about attending each session and is building skills, increasing his confidence, and learning to ask questions. He has had the opportunity to bring his school homework and work on it during a session, which has been very helpful. My 13-year-old daughter had a multi-year gap in math, and I worried we'd waited too long. Six weeks at Mathnasium of Surprise and I'm already seeing growth — she's engaged in the learning process now, comfortable asking questions, and actually understanding fractions instead of just memorizing steps. My daughter started at Mathnasium 4 yrs ago, and the change has been remarkable. Before, math homework meant stress and tears, but now she sits down and gets started without being asked. The instructors take time to figure out where the gaps are and build from there instead of just drilling worksheets, and they explain concepts in different ways until one clicks. All the staff are patient and encouraging. We've also seen grade improvement, better test scores and more willingness to participate in class. The staff keeps us updated on progress, and the center feels welcoming and organized. I'd recommend Mathnasium to any parent whose child is struggling or wants to get ahead.
We’ve had a great experience with this math tutoring program! My son genuinely enjoys attending, which makes such a difference. One thing I really appreciate is how proactive they are about reaching out to his school math teachers to understand what he’s currently learning in class. Teachers have been accommodating when we have had lesson packets from school. She has had pleasant interactions with the tutors and feels comfortable during her lessons.
