My son was a bit leery starting the process. Especially as he was the only high schooler present many times at his appointment time. He quickly converted to liking the dedicated time and having someone to review his questions with immediately while he was working on homework and reviewing for exams. We started with less than a month left in the semester. Next time I would start sooner and feel it was worth the time and money.
We’ve had a really positive experience with Mathnasium for my son, who is currently a junior in high school. He had been struggling with math for some time, largely because the concepts weren’t being explained clearly in the classroom. Like many students, he started to lose confidence as the gaps in understanding grew.
What stood out immediately with Mathnasium was their thorough assessment process. They didn’t just jump into tutoring—they took the time to identify exactly where the gaps were, even going back to foundational concepts that had been missed along the way. That insight was incredibly valuable.
From there, they built a structured, personalized plan focused on strengthening those fundamentals. Instead of just helping him get through current assignments, they worked on rebuilding a solid foundation so he can better handle higher-level math moving forward. We’ve seen a noticeable improvement not just in his skills, but also in his confidence.

So thankful for the opportunity to have my child find great Math tutoring at Mathnasium. He absolutely loves going to the center and it increased his confidence and knowledge in Math. The tutors had been encouraging and most of all Keegan the director had been very supportive in my son’s journey. He accommodates and works out what best suits my son. He had been so much hands on. In several occasions he would create and innovate solutions for any hurdles we would face, works with us in creating the best approach to help our son in enjoying Math while learning and growing. Thank you Mathnasium for making my son’s learning experience unique and tailored to his needs. Also thanks to Norah, the assistant , in being very helpful and supportive.
The manager and staff are excellent. They show sincerity and concern for my child and my family. They represent nothing but exemplary characteristics and customer service while delivering unexpected care. The management and staff anticipates your needs, empowers its employees to help solve problems on the spot, alone with valuing their customer's time.

My son has had an incredibly positive experience with Mathnasium over the past several months. One-on-one tutoring helped get his 8th grade honors math test scores up and, most importantly, built a confidence that he didn’t have before. Over the summer he is coming in twice a week to stop the summer slide and fill in gaps. When I asked this formerly reluctant kid what he would have done differently over the past year, he said, “Only one thing - I would have started going to Mathnasium sooner.” I couldn’t put it better than my son did.
It’s been a great program since my kid has 10. They’re doing great job in elementary school.

Easy to book
My son was assigned different instructors each time depending on who was there and all the instructors were very good. They were able to explain the concepts clearly. My son found the private lessons very helpful.

We enrolled our 9th and 8th grader in Mathnasium and noticed significant improvement very quickly. The kids have a great time when they are there and I honestly could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend Mathnasium for any student who is struggling, or if they just want to stay on top of what they are learning.
Our son is responding well to the pace that Mathnasium is setting. It's building his confidence and helping feel like he can succeed in math in the future.
As always, a great experience with Mathnasium Novato. There is a curriculum they follow which is helpful but if that doesn’t work for your child, they also do one on one tutoring. My used to follow the curriculum but when he got to high school Algebra 2 he needed the tutoring for help with homework. Sang and Nathaniel were very helpful and supportive. Sang the owner, was flexible when we needed to pivot and was great with her input as to how to help my son. She cares on a personal level how kids are doing - so appreciated!
My daughter seems to be learning the math concepts better.
However, the bathroom needs to be cleaned. It was pretty gross.
Our daughter who is 8 was skeptical at first, but once she started her successions she begged to go back multiple times a week! We've loved the program and getting our daughter to love math was the goal. Thank you!
After a couple weeks of trying to find a private AP pre-calculus tutor for my daughter, we gave Mathnasium a call. They were able to get her in for tutoring a 2-3 times a week to help my daughter get back on track. We haven't gotten the final grade yet, but we know she will be up at least a whole letter grade with only 9 tutoring sessions. Thanks to Amanda and Lucas for helping her out!
We have seen progress in Aiden's math skills and his overall confidence doing math. His teacher remarked that Aiden has shown signs of improvement and that he is more engaged in class.

Aaron is diligently managing this math experience. Always observing and directing staff and youngsters. He is charismatic, friendly and has a great rapport with the students.
The room carries a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. My granddaughter loves it!
So far it has been pretty good and Laila seems to really enjoy her time there. I am excited and anticipating her growth and knowledge within the program.
We have had a wonderful experience with Mathnasium. In just six months, I have seen a remarkable improvement in my third grader’s math performance, going from earning C’s to consistently earning A’s in school. Even more important than the grades, he is now much more confident in his math abilities. The instructors have been patient, encouraging, and effective at helping him build a strong foundation while closing learning gaps. We also greatly appreciate the flexibility of the online sessions, especially during summer break, which allows him to stay on track regardless of our schedule. Seeing his confidence, interest in math, and academic performance improve so significantly has been incredibly rewarding, and I highly recommend Mathnasium to any parent looking to help their child succeed in math.
