Justine, the aquatics director has been amazing. She has been able to set the right expectations with the swim instructors, gain their respect, and maintain a team environment. Honestly, it’s the same approach she has with the kids. As a result, my son has benefited and I have referred other parents (which are also now enrolled).

Very accommodating and friendly atmosphere with an absolutely wonderful staff from the front desk to the custodial staff. Very clean and neat and constantly cleaning. Family friendly. Love going there.

The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and we love that we feel so welcomed when we come there!
My kids love the Kids Club and they ask to come to the Y even when I'm not working out just because of that!

There’s something at the ymca for the whole family. Pool, basketball, fitness classes, etc.
The Norton Commons Y is the best run in the Louisville area. Always supper clean, fanatical about keeping the facility virus-free is one of the hallmarks of NC. The maintenance and upkeep is impeccable, all machines and exercise equipment are well maintained and an "Out-of-Order" sign is seemingly not permitted by management - nor ever needed.
The staff is extremely well trained, everyone is knowledgeable beyond their area of responsibility or expertise, and everyone working their is friendly, helpful and always smiling.
The saying in the cruise industry: "Happy Crew, Happy Ship" reminds me of this extraordinarily well managed Norton Commons YMCA. Bravo!
